Piano Music Wire/String choose size/gauge 12 - .029'' length 10'

Replacing a broken piano string is a highly specialized skill. One should not attempt to do this without proper training. However if you do have the training and know the size of the wire you need, this is the perfect solution. You don't need to buy all the extra length you don't need and 10' length is more than enough.

Fit my application. Just remember, to use care as it is very springy, and the end can whip you if you are not careful.
