I think it’s the perfect size but it’s a not very large. I have seen larger blankets but for two this is perfect! I got this for a concert and it was perfect to stay dry when the grass was wet. We also dropped a drink we were able to wipe up and stay dry. Easy clean up, nice colors, easy fold, easy to carry. Great blanket

This is a large mat, but more length than width. Very water and sand resistant, but kind of confusing to roll up again after first use. Finally figured it out, but would be nice to have a diagram included. I've used the old bamboo mats in past, which wear out quickly after multiple times at the beach. This mat will obviously last alot longer, but miss the ease of the bamboo mats.

This mat works nicely as long as you clean with care.We used the mat at the beach and it it held up well while using it, even though we had concerns about beach chairs being on it in the sand - no issues were noticed. The problem happened when we returned home to clean it.So basically what you have here is basically a very thin finely woven tarp like material (imagine the plastic type tarp you buy for $5 at Home Depot, but finer woven) and it has a rubberized/PVC backing behind it, and the two are stuck together.The construction works fine, but when cleaning it you have to be careful. Don't spray it too much with a water hose with sprayer attachment, nor rub it in one spot with your finger (or anything else) to get a stain off of it, because the tarp will start to separate from the backing and then start to unravel. Once the tarp separates from the rubberized backing then it is essentially ruined, as the fabric of the tarp will begin to spread apart and separate.So, if you are mindful of its limited durability and only mist it, and just accept and live with any stains it gets, then you will be happy.UPDATE, 14 AUG 2018:The seller contacted me that I could have had a defective mat, and offered to send me a replacement one for free. That level of customer support is amazing and is much appreciated.

I love this thing. This blanket is sturdy and waterproof. It's great for the park because damp grass won't make your clothes wet. It's great at the beach because it's large and makes it easy to sit down together without getting sand everywhere. We literally take it every time we leave the house just in case and the few times we've forgotten it I was so disappointed. We even use it on our back patio sometimes if my daughter wants to sit and play.

I had this blanket beats ago. We really enjoyed the design and stowing. It is water resistant. It does have a smell for quite some time. We have used it on the sand, river rocks, and grass with no issues.

Really love this. I run a small business and we are doing a beach picnic promo for vday. The blanket is large, light weight and easy to fold. It looks water resistant but I haven't tried it yet. Looks durable too. Love it!
