Solder-ite Soldering Board, Hard, 6 Inch By 6 Inch

This board is exactly what I needed! It’s the perfect size, durable & made of quality material. Definitely would buy again.

This soldering block provides a nice flat surface for soldering without fuss or muss. I sometimes draw perpendicular lines on it to help me keep items straight and even during the soldering process. Important note for soldering newbies you will need something heat resistant under it to protect your soldering surface. It’s a nice size-large enough to accommodate just about any jewelry piece without it being too large. Charcoal blocks should be considered a consumable however this board will provide you at least several years of service as long as you don’t go crazy with flux or way too much heat so it’s a good value Great performance with a reasonable price!

Good quality soldering board

Bought this to replace a silquar board I bought that pulled to much heat away from my jewellery soldering pieces. This reflects so much heat and works beautifully. Only draw back is that the surface degrades quite quickly, but they are reasonably priced for replacement

Not recommended for brazing large parts requiring large amounts of heat. The board will tend to rapidly disintegrated under this kind of use.

Not used yet. Fast delivery, good price, OK size. To be used for benchtop brazing. Good to leave a soldering iron on, if you don't have a proper stand. (larger irons)
