I was hooked by this band initially for it's small size keywords. I am skinny and small and finding a 42mm band is surprisingly difficult. It fits me well while having some room left, even for me. Aesthetically, the band is a slam dunk. It is enjoyably masculine and I think of cars more than bikes with it's reference principle. At first I questioned wether a rubber band might come across as cheap for my Apple Watch, but then again, it's a tire. I appreciate the brand name's position on the underside, rather than a see-my-sketchers front and center. The quality is past what I expected. The buckle and ends are a shiny black, durably panted. I had some user error installing my bands upside down then right side up then upside down and etc. During that time I can conclude that the paint is considerably scratch proof with all the sliding I did. I willingly tried to scratch the paint with my nail and could not. The rubber is substantial and feels very comfortable without feeling loose. Again, if it fits me, it can fit a skeleton. There is a M/L version available as I've read. The quality and character of the band is perfect. Even if Carterjett creates different designs, their tire band will be the most creative in their arsenal. If you would like to know, my body case is the TPU plastic case from New Trent. I have a 42mm Watch 2 Space Gray Aluminum Case with Black Sport Band. The sport band seems fine for everyday use but I wanted something a little more secure for skiing and other extreme sports. This band fits the bill and looks good and feels comfortable doing it. The clasp is a traditional design and seem less likely to come undone accidentally. Although I have a S/M Sport Band, I bought the XL Tire Tread so that I had the option of wearing the band over some of my ski clothes so I would have easier access to it while skiing. This worked great. If you turn off the lock function (from the iPhone Watch App) you have full access to the watch functions (except heart rate) without putting in your watch code even if the watch back is not touching your skin. When you do that, ApplePay from the watch is turned off and must be turned back on from the iPhone App. If you don't turn off the lock, you can still see the time without the code.Some of the earlier reviews indicated some strength problems with the band connection to the watch. As you may have read, this was redesigned. It is now very strong and probably as strong or stronger that the Apple sports band.

I bought this almost a year ago . I can say that it’s strong and resistant. Looks good and it doesn’t fade. The only issue that i have with it’s that sweat mixed with dust , dirt( or dead skin) gets stuck between those ridges making it harder to clean . If you work in a dirty environment this product might not be what you are looking for.

The band is very original looking. It seems to be very durable, and the quality seems quite good. I would definitely recommend the band.

I wanted a band with metal connectors to the match itself since the soft material kept coming apart for me on the standard apple workout bands. This one is incredibly durable, but it’s also very bulky, which I don’t like. Of all you’re after is durability this one’s for you, but it is not aesthetically pleasing at all.

Watchband was just as described. My husband loved the larger size & the tread style!

I’ve gone through a few wrist bands (metal, the original one that came with the watch, steel mesh) and, quite frankly, this is the best one yet. Be sure to measure your wrist with a tape measure and get the proper size. This wrist band is stretchy, drys quickly if wet, and is super comfortable despite my hairy wrists. I generally switch between two holes depending on how much I want it tight or loose. It’s a great product in terms of comfort. It’s a traditional latching system that I’m used to and it also looks great. I can’t say enough about it and I am very happy with this purchase. I’ve now worn it for two months and looks the same as when it came out of the box. Very easy to install as most Apple wristbands are.

I have tried many different watch bands and this one is by far the best built that I’ve used, and most comfortable if you have a large wrist. Every other band I’ve tried I’m on the last notch it has. I own 2 of the M/L and one of the xl/xxl. On the M/L I started on the second notch and after using them for close to a year there are some days I put it on the 3rd. Anyone that has a larger wrist knows that when you are using one of the last notches of a band, the band end comes out of the loop on a regular basis, so I decided to try the XXL. The XXL is a true XXL. I use the 2nd tightest notch on the band, and actually cut off part of the band bc it was so long. If you’re a big guy, I highly recommend this band. For reference, my wrist is just under 8.25”
