First Alert Fire Extinguisher, Automotive and Marine Use

Used it today on an engine fire! Works very fast, does work great on gasoline, however, it will last about 10-15 seconds....max It didn't fully extinguish the fire, but delayed it enough for the local FD to finish the fight. (Note: not my car, saw a crash on interstate with a blazing engine fire...had to try it out)

Works good and looks good

Found this awesome deal and couldn't pass it up. A second extinguisher for my Jeep.

Fits on our side x side and meets trail requirements

Will NOT fit the item "Automotive Authority Black Fire Extinguisher Wall Mount Pocket Recessed Bracket Holder Hanger Boat RV", although I saw the extinguisher to be recommended. The extinguisher for the Recessed Bracket item noted should be 9-1/2" in circumferences and no more than10" tall at the neck to fit the recessed holder.

I have 2 ! perfect fit !

Installed in a boat. Not much to say other than it’s a fire extinguisher and it was charged

Well, after jerking out of sleep at 3:30 in the morning one night, I had the realization that I needed to buy a fire extinguisher - both for my house and for my car. I dunno, it just needed to happen. I put a set of this, paired with an ABC extinguisher for the kitchen. Before i hit check out, I decided that I needed to get a second set for my friend, because, well, between the two of us, we've been long overdue to catch something irrecoverably on fire. Flash forward about two weeks, and it's time to replace the taillights on his Subaru, because I'd borrowed his in order to get an inspection, since they weren't cracked. When I go to install them on his car, a wasps nest had been built inside the quarter panel and my friend determined that the only way to deal with this was to burn it with brake parts cleaner and fire - which was quite successful at destroying the wasps nest. He immediately, after stamping out the fire (inside the quarter panel), walked away and went inside. I started to follow, but turned around before walking around the corner decided to look back at the car, to see a growing flame coming from behind the taillight that I'd just put there - which was starting to melt away. I looked around the car for the extinguisher - ran inside to grab anything and found his car one sitting inside by the door, so ran back out and pretty easily put out what has turned into a five foot tall flame coming from the tailgate. I gotta say that if I hadn't had this, there's a solid chance that his car would have burnt to the ground, and possibly his house too. It's a hugely helpful thing, and I will continue to keep one in stock probably for the rest of my life.
