I used a double edge razor till 1979 when I could no longer find the blades. Several years ago I was going through some stuff to see what needed to be thrown away when I came across my old razor. I decided to check Amazon to see if the blades were available. I found many brands available. I've tried 5 or 6 different brands, some excellent and some terrible, all priced well below what you would pay for a modern multiblade pack of razor cartridges. I recently came across Persona and decided to try them. They cost a little more than some other double edge blades but are well worth the extra money. They give a nice smooth shave with no irritation at all.
