Excellent Phone holder. I've bought all sorts over the years and the VANMASS has proven to be the best! I now own 5 of them for all my vehicles...even a boat. Excellent base, no shaking like most holders, no loose phones, no noise or squeaks, and even the vent mount actually works (I only have that on one vehicle now, the rest I use the provided bases). After 18+ months of baking heat and exposed on my vehicle dash, one of my phone holders broke. Not the mount, just the part that holds the phone. I contacted VANMASS and was VERY PLEASANTLY surprised at the EXCELLENT, quick and very helpful customer service. I contacted on a Wednesday and by Sunday a new holder was on my doorstep. Again, a great product thats stood behind by excellent customer service. I will always shop for my phone gear here first. A customer for life!!

As described and (unless the price seems a bit much for you) I recommend it. It's very adaptable to situations and various cars. The best option for me was to use my driver's side "wing" window (which doesn't open.) My phone is now at a great height to keep my eyes up when driving. I was using a different brand magnetic device in the cupholder between my front seats. I can't recommend that kind, in part because it is easy for you or your passenger to knock your phone off. That's not an issue here. I can easily view/touch the screen. Perfect for your phone's Maps app when negotiating strange territory. So far no issue with the suction pad coming lose. (Time will tell.) It can be cleaned and put back, not a big deal. One thing to know is that if you use the attachment with glass, the directions say that long exposure to direct sunlight can cause the pad to separate from the surface (dash/or window.) Materials seem fine. It's pretty lightweight. The side clasps hold the phone sufficiently and the back release button is conveniently located and easy to press. It's not a hinderance when getting in or out of the car. Obviously when opening the door, the device goes with the door so it has the potential (I suppose) to get knocked off or to be bumped to the ground, where phone breakage might be as issue. Final note, if your dash has a texture this may not adhere. It needs to have a flat surface for the suction to work. Finally, there's the option of a vent attachment if you prefer. I like it a lot.

It was an excellent cellphone/iPhone holder (used for a GPS). The suction attachment at the base was very sturdy. It was difficult to remove at times when mounted on the windshield (it served its purpose).

Didn’t work well for us in our Subaru Forester or our GMC Sierra. The adapter does not stay in the vent. Your phone goes flying more often than not. The arm extension really doesn’t work all that well because we don’t want it on the window blocking your view and it comes loose unless you glue it on the dash. So not really a great fit for us. Bought the upgraded vent adapter which works better, but an additional added expense. They should include the upgraded piece because they have to know the other one just comes right out! 02/22/25 Update: Company has said they are sending the updated vent clips at no charge. If they follow through, the problem will be solved! 02/25/25 Update: Company came through and replaced with the updated vent attachment. Works perfectly! This is why I only buy from top notch companies.

I don't know how this trash could possibly have such a high rating. Oh, it was great for a few weeks, until that is, it inexplicably fell off even though I carefully followed the directions to mount it on my dashboard. My car stays in the garage, not out in the sun, and it wasn't even during hot weather. So then I mounted it on the air vent and it worked for a short time. But while using it to navigate to a place I'd never been before—at night and on the freeway—my phone suddenly fell down to the floorboard by my feet where I couldn't get it because this worthless, over-priced, apparently China-made piece of junk had broken. I won't go into details about the issues and potential danger this created, but if something really bad had happened, I'd be suing VANMASS for sure.

Product overall is nice. But for me the angle of my phone will be weird if I use this. If attached to the dash, the extending arm can't pivot down much to better angle the phone more up and down than at an up angle. I won't use the window mount as the phone and mount seems it would obstruct view too much. The attachment for the vent- doesn't work in my car despite the vent being a vertical vent. The clip isn't long enough to attach. Plus its plastic, not sure how long that would last. Disappointed, but I may have a hard time finding a mount that offers what seems more common sense angling of a phone.

This is a nice sturdy phone holder. Used it on two multi-day road trips and was perfect for holding my phone for navigation. Once mounted it did not move. Used it on two different vehicles and it was fine to relocate. Have had it for 2 months so far without any issues.

I usually wait 6 months for this type of product before writing a review. So verdict is a very good product. It past winter and hot days and never budge.

For 2016 Honda pilot touring. It wouldn't stick to the dashboard but works on the windshield. Sturdy. The phone does still jostle in the phone holder as it doesn't hold it tight but it hasn't fallen out.
