Great pens - exactly what I expected. Sakura Micron pens have pigment ink which is lightfast and suitable for art which you might want to frame and sell.The pens were not in a plastic wallet, though - they were loose in a padded envelope so therefore not a "set" in the strict sense. Something you might want to keep in mind if you intend to give them as a present.

They were just in a plastic bag so presentation wasn't brilliant, but the micron pens themselves are excellent quality. Vibrant colours and perfect for lining watercolour pieces! Definitely easy to hold and so far seem to be lasting for a while (but only used them for a few weeks so far), like my other micron liners.

These pens arrived in a plastic bag rather than a proper pen case which was a surprise but I'm not too worried about that as I will be putting them in a pen holder on my desk anyway, and less packaging is good for the environment.The pens are good quality and they come in a good choice of colours. I like that there is a light and a dark brown and three shades of green which are good for anyone drawing floral drawings. Most of the colours match their cap colour except for the pink which is more like magenta, the purple which is barely recogniseable as purple being very dark, whereas the black ink is very light almost being a charcoal grey.Best of all the yellow pen is actually yellow and this is particularly good as I have been trying to find a decent yellow pen for ages, all of the others having turned out to be amber or such a pale yellow that they can't be seen on white paper.I primarily bought these however however because I wanted water resistant pens that I could use for outlines for watercolour paintings without the ink bleeding. I am happy to say that I have tested them and they do not bleed even under heavy water saturation on really poor quality paper. (See image attached to see the dry wet and dried picture. ) I did subsequent test which also did not bleed which I have not included pictures of.I haven't had them long enough yet to test their longevity but they are good quality so far and I'm very pleased with them.

Lovely pens, which give a really fine line - perfect for the type of artwork I do as i can do very small and fine detailed work. I shall definitely buy these again, when this current supply run out.

After reading lots of reviews and recommendations, I decided to treat myself to these pens.I was a little apprehensive after finding out some people had received bootleg versions of these pens, however the ones I received work perfectly. They arrived in a small plastic bag, sealed with a printed sticky label rather than branded plastic packaging the way sets of pens are usually sold.I enjoy drawing and painting manga style watercolour illustrations and I was delighted to discover that these pens are not just waterproof, but also copic markerproof. So I strongly recommend these for anyone who wants to add a little extra colour to their line art.

These arrived just bundled in a plastic bag, no case or box, but they are definitely the legit Sakura Pigma Microns, 0.45 nibs, and so many colours!I've not been able to find some of these colours anywhere else so that's very exciting.All of them work really well and the ink flows beautifully and does not bleed or ghost through 80gsm paper.I use mine in my ESV Illuminated scripture journals and they are just perfect.

Best pens I've ever used and work well on all papers - I use them for bible study.

They are such a great purchase ,the cost may be high but the durability will compensate for that.Used it in so many artworks and illustrations they are a must have
