I could simply leave my review at "beautiful, functional and quality", as this perfectly describes this case.
I could simply leave my review at "beautiful, functional and quality", as this perfectly describes this case, but I shall elaborate. This case, like all Spigen cases I have ever purchased, comes in really nice "no nonsense" packaging.Something that Spigen does far better than other case manufacturers, in my opinion, is the buttons - and this case is no different. Every button has a wonderfully tactile response that doesn't require any extreme force or fiddling around like I have experienced with other branded cases. The way the buttons are designed is also a very useful as they have small lines separating them from the rest of the case and, in the case of the volume and Bixby buttons, the buttons next to them. The Bixby button also has a very distinct texture to it so there is absolutely zero chance that you will accidentally press the Bixby button while attempting to change the volume. The back of the case has a very classy matte finish that does a fantastic job of keeping off fingerprints. I will admit that it can gather a few fingerprints here and there, but you have to look very closely to be able to see them, so I would say that the back of the case stays looking like new all the time. The back also includes a kickstand which is such an amazing feature I don't understand how I have gone without this feature for so long. Not only is the kickstand extremely useful, it is also very rugged. It does not feel like the kind of kickstand that will fall off after a couple of uses, but rather displays the same level of ruggedness that the entire case does.In terms of protection, this case is one of the best. This stems mostly from my previous experience with Spigen's Liquid Air technology, as I have been fortunate enough not to have dropped my Note 8 yet, but I can fully vouch for it, as it saved my previous S7 Edge from a ~6ft drop and slide across very rough concrete. There will be absolutely 0 concerns regarding protection with this case.Lastly, this case *feels* amazing. Despite a lot of complaints about "sharp" curves on the Note 8 (complaints that are ill-founded in my opinion) the case feels like it is a perfect mould of the hand. The case will sit very comfortably in your hand regardless of what grip you use (pinky under the phone, "squeeze" grip etc) and has a very nice non-slippery feel to it. The case doesn't add any bulk, either, which is a very nice bonus. Often, with cases that provide as much protection as this, you will find that the phone you had under the case has multiplied in size, but this case keeps it nice and thin and most importantly - stylish!Best case ever. Now, Spigen, make some screen protectors to match your awesome cases, please!

Quality product from Spigen as usual
I have used Spigen cases for all of my phones for the past 5 or 6 years and never had any problems. This case is no exception, it fits my Galaxy Note 8 perfectly and does not cause any issues with the Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector that I have installed. The case looks reasonably nice on the phone and seems to be a good compromise of protection without being too bulky, it also has a nice non slip feel to it when it is in your hand. The top and bottom edges of the case are raised slightly so that you can place the phone face down on a flat surface without the screen getting scratched or marked and might even save the phone from a small liquid spill although its not something I want to test. All of the cut outs are in the right place, are a generous size and have bevelled edges so there should be no issue with plugging anything in. The buttons for the power, volume and Bixby are easy to press and the kickstand is sturdy enough whilst still being unobtrusive when folded away.As stated above I've used Spigen cases for years and although I try not to drop my phones, it does sometimes happen. Experience with the brand gives me the confidence that if a minor mishap does happen with my Galaxy Note 8 it will, in all likelihood, survive the event. All in all I can't fault the case and for the price I doubt there is anything better.

Clear winner.
I ordered 5 different cases for my new galaxy note 8 in a frustrating attempt to get a case I was as happy with as I was with my note 8. This was the best one in my opinion. Below I will detail my observations one month later. It does as a bit of bulk, however still looks very good considering the added bulk. Of course the bulk seemslike it would offer significant protection in case of a drop (touch wood) and therefore peace of mind. The cutouts are great, easy access to spend. The bumper protection is brilliant and has protected me from many accidental clashes with bedposts etc... The added width also seems to enhance the note 8s grip and feel in the hand, forcing a tighter grip in the palm. The surface is also more grippy than most cases. Overall the edge shape, dimensions and material of the case make it ergonomically the best case I've personally tried in regards to manipulating and gripping the note 8. I actually much prefer holding the phone with the case than without. The case is also perfectly snug, Hugging the top and bottom of the note 8 perfectly, and hugging the edge just enough to offer good protection against nicks against objects and let the phone roll forward incase of a drop, but not so much to take away from edge looks or functionality. The top/bottom also offers a good level of front screen drop protection Vs relativley even surfaces. This is important particularly if like me you are not using a screen protector. It also lets you rest the phone face down with confidence. This feels safer to me than leaving the screen facing upwards. The kickstand is also great. It is offset and allows two different viewing angles, making it better than the kickstand on the Samsung rugged or clear view, both of which were too forward inclines. This lets you place it further away or view closer to eye even, or look down at a desk nearby you. I can't tell you how useful this is.The buttons are a bit ridgid and it would have been nice to have them a little easier to press. however on that note (get it, note?) the bixby button is textured, making it easy to distinguish. Again very subtle yet useful if you use bixby as much as I do. Even if you don't use bixby this is absolute gold for distinguishing the volume keys from bixby and from each other. All in all for the price you pay this is an absolute must are unlikely to find better. It looks great, offers great all round protection without making unnecessary sacrifices, and adds considerable functionality to compliment a brilliant phone. Spigen really hit the nail on the head with this design. I would have easily paid double without a moment's hestistion. Would have happily paid triple if it had a vertical kickstand. Tried many others but always kept returning to this one. This product is the reason 5 stars exist.
