Great little cutting board that washes well

I needed a modestly-sized wooden cutting board to replace a larger, much more cumbersome one. This item is perfect for preparing fruit and vegetables and slicing cheese, bread rolls and the like. It seems well-made and sturdy so I’m confident it will give many years of service. (I’ll report back if it doesn’t.)It’s made of wood from rubber trees and is a by-product of the rubber industry. New trees are planted to replace felled ones so it’s a sustainable product.I’m sure you’ll be satisfied if you buy one.

This is ideal for those who find large chopping boards overwhelming. It is practical, from a sustainable source and wears well. Just give it a quick wash after use and it will last for years. I have one that I bought 7 years ago still going strong. A good product at a great price.

Before buying I was sceptical about the low price, but it is better than expected. Highly recommend!

I thought it would be a little bigger but it turned out that the size is excellent for fruit and veg.one of the major selling points was no cutout for the handle. I mean, who actually needs that? It's just annoying if you want to have a few extra things on the board before you put it all in the pot/pan.I've included images just to show scale.Being a wooden board, it shouldn't be used for any meat or fish.Does not state dishwasher safe so I'd always wash by hand.The image suggests it's made of 3 separate pieces and mine was exactly as shown.This is a little concerning in the long run since it looks glued together.Will update again if something happens to it after only hand washing.

Bought in December 2017. The quality is still intact after using everyday, providing you look after it. A small wooden chopping board ideal for prepping a sandwich or chopping up something small like an apple or slicing a tomato.I wouldn't recommend for your meal preps (small 1) or anything large like a pineapple or slicing a meat joint up. It is convenient to eat straight from the board like a sandwich, burger or even used as a prop.

It certainly is a board for chopping stuff on. Having used it a few times for chopping celery, cucumber and suchlike it has marked slightly but, no worse than I would expect, it still looks fine.Nice to have the guttering for stopping juices from making a mess on my worktop.I use it with a  9" x 12" Silicone Non-SlipTrivet Mat  as it fits nicely and stops it slipping around.It has been washed several times and I've had no warping or splitting issues as yet, but I don't leave it in to soak or use a dishwasher. I do however use a modicum of common sense, all of these types of board (no-matter how thick) are made up of several pieces of wood glued/compressed together and lo and behold wood is a material that could, I would imagine, possibly expand or warp if left in water, so I just wouldn't be doing that!
