Sony PCKLM15.SYH Screen Protector for Camera -Black

Prefer this at higher price to the third party alternatives. Fits RX10 LCD screen and for me is best option to other types. It is flexible and easy to mount with a little care and in the right light. Leaves no bubbles and only adheres around the edges. Cannot damage the LCD coating in main part of screen when removed. There are numerous comments on the coating wearing off prematurely and this type of screen cover avoids that. An excellent product and worth the money to protect your valuable camera screen from scratches. Buy immediately with your camera. Heard of many cases of LCDs being inadvertently scratched almost right away following purchase. Packaging clearly states all models it fits - unlike third party ones. Prices have dropped but still a bit expensive.

I originally bought a Sony screen protector because I learned the hard way with a NEX6 that without one the LCD screen can be easily scratched. I scratched mine putting the camera into a case with the strap buckles causing the damage. I've been using a Sony Protector on that camera for over a year now and it's worked great, it has no annoying scratches which I've read about in other reviews and it's protected the screen underneath (which I had repaired following the initial damage). I bought another protector for my newly purchased RX100 m3 and it fitted like glove. I had to take the camera back to the store because the lens cover wasn't opening fully and the store staff couldn't believe it had a protector on. The camera was replaced and I swapped the protector to the new one. Unfortunately by then I'd taken it on and off quite a few times and it didn't stick as well as it had originally so I've bought yet another one for the replacement camera. Despite that I think it's a very good product at a good price and my advice would be to fit it as precisely as possible the first time and then leave it.

Very high quality screen protector from Sony. Absolute precision fit on my RX100 M2. Not mentioned in the ad, but this also designed for DSC- RX1, RX1R, RX10, RX100, RX100M2, RX100M3, RX100M4, HX90, HX90V Fitting is much the same as a mobile phone screen protector, align the edge and peel off the backing to apply. There is an instruction sheet supplied and it contains an important detail - apply pressure to the black edges only when fitting NOT the middle. I didn't have any issues with dust specs having cleaned the camera first with a lint free cloth. The LM15 is quite rigid and offers excellent protection. It contains the Sony logo along the bottom. I'm really pleased with this item, its relatively cheap for an official Sony product and it looks much better than a 3rd party screen protector. I'd go as far as to say you'd be hard pushed to tell that its not factory fitted - it looks that good. If you intend to eventually sell your camera on, this little addition is a very smart buy on all levels.

I bought this for a new Sony DSCRX100M3 camera -- I protect my mobile phone screen, so thought it a good idea to do the same with my camera. To be honest, I've forgotten that I bought this -- it's so discreet that once it's on, you'd never know there was a protector. It was a doddle to put on: none of the faffing around with bubbles and marks underneath the plastic that are usual with mobile phone screen protectors. It's very rigid, invisible once on, and protects your screen. What's not to like?

I'm very happy with this screen protector. Once it's attached to the camera you really can't tell there's a screen protector on the camera at all. I immediately forgot it was there. It even keeps the Sony logo on the camera screen - nice touch! Applying the protector to the screen is easy. You can remove and re-attach the protector several times until you get the right fit. However, you need to follow the instructions and just press down the edges of the protector onto the screen and not the middle of the screen. This way of attaching a screen protector means there are no bubbles to worry about. There are cheaper screen protectors available, but when you spend hundreds of pounds on a high quality camera why not spend ten pounds on the best possible screen protector for that camera? I'm not generally a fan of Sony accessories because I find they're usually over-priced for what they are (eg. Sony camera cases, Sony AG-R2 Grip etc). However, this Sony accessory is a notable exception and well worth the extra money!

Fits like a glove but scratches and marks far too easily. I normally fit cheap sticky back film style screen protections to my SLRs, they're cheap and can be cut to any size but they get messed up quite quickly. However, they're cheap and easy to replace every 6 months or so. This SONY branded semi hard screen protector for the RX100M3 is refreshingly easy to fit, only attached around the edges so no fear of bubbles in the viewing area, it's got the SONY logo on and it's almost impossible to tell it's fitted. In fact the fit, finish and look of the protector is so OEM that my partner still doesn't believe I've got a screen protector on it. The only thing I've noticed is that it seems to scratch and mark far too easily. I don't abuse the RX100M3, it lives in a very large jacket pocket with nothing else in the pocket to mark it, after a few days in Scotland and a few days in Paris the screen protector has some fairly annoying scratches on it. You can't really feel the scratches, they're not deep and not caused by any sever impact or pressure from an object, they're more like surface scuffs that are really distracting when looking at the screen. Now I've got two views on this (1) I should be praising the screen protector, it did its job protecting the factory fitted and non replaceable screen underneath. (2) The screen protector is too soft and I'd like to hope the original screen would be a little tougher but since I fitted the protector the day the camera arrived, I can't even recall if the original screen is hard plastic or glass. Long story short - I like the product but feel it could be improved or maybe even made of gorilla glass for extra scratch resistance for not much more money. I will keep it on for a 7 day trip to Vegas and then probably remove it and replace it with another one.

Yes, £10 for a bit of plastic....but it fits perfectly, is cut to shape to suit the light sensor and works fine. I bought this for a used camera I had purchased, which had a few scratches on the back screen. I put this on to protect against any more. After a day or two I suddenly wondered...and yes, there was already one of these on the glass screen but I couldn't see it! So it just goes to show, once on and you wouldn't know it was there! 4 stars because it is quite expensive and really, for a high end compact with a screen that can't be turned inwards for protection, Sony should have provided something like this from newvwith the camera...which they don't. But for the product itself, it's good and warrants 5 stars

What can I say that hasn't already been said in the other great reviews. It fits perfectly, easy to apply, blends into the rest of the camera and protects your screen! Job done. I was a little reluctant to spend £10 on a screen protector but when you've paid so much for a camera (Sony RX100 M4), why not spend a little extra on the official Sony branded version and get peace of mind that it was designed specifically for your camera and will be great quality. (I'd also recommend the Sony Grip for the RX100 M4/IV)

Fantastic quality and perfect fit for Sony Alpha 7ii (A7ii). I've used a lot of screen and privacy filters for phones, tablets, and similar devices in the past and the quality of this one is exceptional. I was tempted to save a few dollars and cut down a cheap phone cover, but glad I didn't. The Sony PCKLM15 LCD Protector is noticeably thicker than most phone covers. It also has a nice texture and Sony branding on it. It covered the panel of the A7ii well and did not crop any of the underlying LCD image area. Smudges seem to bounce off of it and I'm confident in it's ability to stay put and protect the screen. Application was easier than most screen protectors too. A quick cleaning of the LCD to ensure there was no dust or smudges and then removed the backing from the protector and applied starting at one side and smoothing out to the other. Didn't require any signifiant bubble pushing to clear air bubbles. Once on you'll quickly forget it's there.

Es un excelente protector semi rígido. Debo decir que en México no había encontrado protectores con esta calidad para mi Sony 7II, incluso en la propia tienda de Sony pregunté muchas veces y decían que ellos no manejaban nada para proteger la pantalla de la cámara, así que después de ver varios en la red, di con éste que francamente me ha dejado muy contento. No trae ninguna toallita antiestática, pero por suerte yo tenia una que me sirvió para poder limpiar mi pantalla y así no dejar ni pelusa ni burbuja. Quedó perfecta, pediré otra para mi RX100 V

This worked perfectly for my a6000. Now my easy-to-scratch screen is protected.
