Brilliant game
I have been a fan of the Kinect Sports series since the first incarnation and this game does not disappoint the series. Kinect follows your every move very well which makes game play very easy to control.I would recommend buying this if you want a different gaming experience to the ordinary.Kinect has been flawless during the first sessions of this game. If reviews come in about Kinect not being able to keep up or cutting out, keep in mind that it is the users problem and not this game as Kinect has requirements in terms of play area and distance between the player and the sensor that most people don't bother to research. All in all fantastic game and would recommend a purchase!

Something quite unique
This is absolutely a must-have for couples, families or for when you're planning a night in with your mates. This game has 6 different sports: wake racing, football, tennis, bowling, shooting and climbing. All of them are brilliant on their own, although you will find that some are harder than others.Although you have a "Career" mode in which you play part of different teams competing on one different event after another, as soon as you unlock all sports, you are free to play any of them, either alone or with someone.Although quite simplistic, this is so much fun when playing with someone. One of the most unique games I have bought in a long long time.

A Backwards step!
Well where to start with this one. If your expecting anything like the last instalment of this type of game im afraid you are going to be disappointed. The installation process is quite fast as the game itself is small, after about 10mins i could launch myself into the future of gaming (well so i thought). The character building part of the game is pretty cool and your talked through each step by David Tenant which gives this sense that its going to be a great game. After my Hero was made, which may i add did look quite realistic and life like. I spent about 5 hours going through all the training and playing each sport which i have summarised below.Wake RacingThis was the only sport i had played previously on the pre-season download when the console launched so knew what to expect here. The colours and graphics are stunning, the water looks good enough to swim in. The game play itself here is very good and the Kinect works well to pick up on your movements. A solid start to the game 8/10Rock ClimbingSecond up was the rock climbing which i have to say is somewhat of a disappointment. It is highly frustrating when your player slips down the wall due to the Kinect missing out on your actions which puts you behind and its sometimes a struggle to get ahead in this part of the game, as you progress the competition gets harder and to give you an idea i completed one of the climbing walls in 2:42 and the player that was first did it in 1.24. You can appreciate how frustrating it is when you lose by a huge margin like that so early on. Very challenging 6/10ShootingNow this sport was one that i mostly over looked when reading the reviews on this game and what a mistake that was. This is probably on of the better sports in the game. While the only thing you have to do is point at the screen and shoot the targets this is majorly satisfying when you steal points from your opponent. Great Fun 9/10SoccerI only spent a small amount of time on this one as its quite a straight forward concept. You kick the ball from defender to defender then to the striker who belts it towards the goal. Then the roles reverse and they do the same with you controlling the Goalkeeper. Very basic and gets quite boring after some time playing. The graphics and game style are the sports only saving grace which makes it quite bright and colourful to play. Repetitive 7/10BowlingThis is your basic bowling as in the previous game but with a lot more going on screen while playing. The controls are the same as before (what more do you need) and its easy to get the hang of it. Great fun when you have some friends round for a blast but on your own this quickly gets boring. Solid 8/10TennisThis is the last sport to unlock and i had my expectations high for the tennis. Unfortunately its a "swing and a miss" quite literally. If you ever played the tennis on the Wii it was outstanding very simple and worked unbelievably well. I appreciate this was using a controller but surely the technology has improved over the years. When you do get the hang of it its not bad however the rate at which your opponent improves is insane and before you know it your losing nearly every match. Disappointing 5/10OverallThis game had so much hype prior to release and when the developer held back the release day to focus on refining the game play i really thought this was going to be a hit. Unfortunately for me it was rather disappointing for the cost of the game it doesn't feel like there is much replay value. The sports vary and its highly frustrating when the Kinect doesn't pick up your movements (which is rare). If this game was half the price i would be more inclined to pick up a copy but as it stands its not worth the hard earned cash especially when its a step backwards from the previous Kinect sports. Overall 6.5/10

Rivals Review
Some of the sports are rather dull and controls poorly, soccer mostly. However that is easily overshadowed by wake racing which is very accurate. Tennis is alright single player but requires a bit room for multiplayer, bowling is exactly how it should be, rock climbing surprisingly takes some getting used to and target shooting is just pointing at the screen. Overall a good Kinect game but not perfect, If you like the previous games then this is good. Its also the most accurate use of the Kinect to date

Brilliant Game
I bought this game so that me and my partner could enjoy it at home with Family during the evenings. The variety of games and also the physical exercise involved in the game. It provided many nights of fun with family, exercise when the gym seemed to much effort and also a lot of drunken laughs and competitions. Amazing game and definitely recommend for those wanting to spend quality time with their family in an active way.

great
Great game and the Kinect tracks the player accurately. The create your champion was Goodman my characteur was pretty accurate.Only gripe is the lack of games. I think Frisbee golf would be a good addition. To the reviews complaining about having to do all the training, try saying "listen", "quick play". Hey pesto you can play any game straight away.
