Q: Does the pearl coating "flake" off easily? I use these for souvenirs that I make by twisting them together so they interlock and looking for decent qu

I've only worn them the once for a gatsby night, so I cannot answer I'm afraid. I do still have them, and they have not flaked so far.

Q: Would these pearls look ok with a black dress to wear out

From a distance look fine but bit cheap looking close up but then again they were less than £3 ..I wore them to a 1920s fancy dress party so we're OK for that
