Great value interval training item
Great item to introduce me back in to running using 30s/30s on/off intervals. It can be set up for a variety of interval work. I wasn't sure initially about the use of batteries with all the chargeable watches etc nowadays, but they last a long time!!! Nice and comfy once the had plastic strap eases into the shape of your wrist :-) (extra purchase, not included with the item itself). Good clear vibration and /or beep for you to know when to start the next interval instead of having to keep watching the screen.

Excellent Gadget
Brilliant little device which helps you to manage your interval workouts. I use mine for the punch bag, but it would be ideal for anyone doing things like circuit training, shuttle runs, etc. I thought it would be really tricky to programme and set up, but it was a doddle and took no more than five minutes. It's also very light and comfortable to wear so that you hardly notice it when working out. A fantastic gadget and well worth the money.

Good but programming is a little fiddly (but more buttons would make it bulky!)
Needed something to let me know every 30 seconds for 1 hour that was light to wear but I could feel the vibrations. Did the job well. It's a little fiddly to set up though.

Allows me to set several intervals
I love this multi-interval timer - it was just what I needed for doing my Couch to 5K training. I didn't want to carry my phone with me on my runs, so I needed a timer that would allow me to set several intervals, and this is perfect for that. It allows me to set up as many intervals/repeats as I need - for example: 5m (warmup) followed by 1m/1m x 2 (1m walk/rest x 2), followed by 2m/2m x 4 (2m walk/rest x4) then 5m (cool down). I haven't found anything else that allows me to create intervals like this. I used it today, for the first time - it discretely hooked onto the waistband of my leggings and didn't budge. I have a previous GymBoss model, which allows me to set two intervals, so the use of the buttons was familiar, and it was straightforward setting up what I wanted. I also love the fact that I can save two different programs.

Best timer I've used
Awesome work tool. I own 2 gyms and use it every single day. Battery is average. Depends on the brand of battery you buy. Worth the money difference for the mini instead of the classic. Little scratches easily obtainedSave future is a time saver

Good little timer and great that it saves your settings ...
Arrived on time. A little tricky to set up but I emailed the seller and had an immediate response which was really helpful. Good little timer and great that it saves your settings /programmes.

Great idea but lacks quality control
Have been using this for a while for tracking boxing intervals and rest periods in gym. A bit difficult to program but once you've done it it's really good. Before I was using old 'dumb' casio watch to track intervals - I find smart watches and smartphones too fiddly and distracting. Gymboss has everything my watches had but with more convenient buttons, larger display and with added benefit of vibration as a signal. But, alas, build quality is not great. Mine stopped working after ~3 months (I was expecting it to work ages on one battery). Changing battery didn't help. After disassembling the case the problem became obvious - inductor L1 was disconnected from the board and the way it was soldered doesn't look great. I would have fixed this and keep using the timer but can't really figure out the value of L1. So quality control is probably a weak point.Anyway, it's a great idea and it would be a great product if it wasn't faulty.
