Best Knife on Market for Price!!!
Bought this as i do a lot of wilderness camping, hammock style, lots of tieing up tarps and hammocks with paracord, needed something handy, not too large, very sharp and extra strong. This knife certainly fulfilled all of these. Not only has the Mora company been making knifes for over 300 hundred years but major survival course instructors use them and give them to their students, Ray Mears himself uses them as is explained in Wikepidea. The blade is beautifully made, looks hand made to me as the core of the blade can be seen from the top flat edge, much like a samurai sword that is made from folding different metals around each other this knife is made in the same way. The blade goes 1/3 into the length of the handle, the handle itself is very comfortable and slip free as its made from rubber. It comes with a hard sheath with a belt loop over clip and a button hole clip on the back, i prefer the button hole clip as you can swing the knife sideways when kneeling down thus perventing getting poked by the sheath when crouching. Previous versions didnt have this button hole clip but mora changed the design when realised the loop over clip wasnt good enough. They pay a lot of attention to detail and have done for over 3 centuries.Compared to other top class knifes, ie the Bear Grylls knife, SEAL PUPs, etc.. this knife is way way cheaper and probably a lot better as it has a lot more comfortable and practible design! Well done the Swedish, and yes I also own a volvo!... T5 Turbo of course, lolAnyway if your looking for an astonishing, hard wearing, long lasting knife then buy this! you will not bee disapointed.

Unbelievably sharp, ridiculously cheap.
I have a new found interest in bushcraft and joined a number of Facebook groups on the subject. I decided that I wanted to get a knife for whittling wood, splitting branches and shaving kindling and generally to feel manly. I searched one group and saw that there were several previous posts where people had enquired about knives and on each post, members ‘in the know’ (from my layman’s perspective), all mentioned Mora.I do have a collection of Swiss Army knives although all are too precious to me to utilise for any useful purpose, other than to pick my teeth after eating meat, scratch my ear holes (the other end of the pick is ideal, albeit rather gruesome), and the scissors to cut cotton wool pads for electronic cigarette wicking material. The Mora knife I purchased here was such a low-cost product, I’d be far more inclined to use it for more substantial purposes. The knife arrived and I must say that I’m delighted. The handle is a rubbery texture and affords a great grip, the sheath is durable although it’s a little cumbersome to pull out the knife and the blade itself is sharper than my wife’s tongue, god bless her. I don’t believe I’ve ever owned a sharp knife like this, it makes my Swiss Army knife (the big one) seem like it’s made of kebab meat. This Mora is quite literally sharp enough to shave with, it’s quite astounding for such a cheap product.I still haven’t managed to go full cave-man with it though, but it’s in my list for the near future. I have no doubt that this will serve me well, I won’t be afraid of damaging it because of the price and it’s likely to get used when we are out in the wilderness of Blighty.

Scalpel Sharp!
I bought this knife based upon the reviews and they are correct. I have previously used for the past three years a more expensive lock knife bought from a local gun shop to skin rabbits. I tried this knife out last night and boy what a difference it made. I applied minimum effort and the fur fell away as though I were using a laser to burn through something. It is that sharp straight out of the scabbard. The rubber handle sits firmly and securely in the palm of the hand to. The scabbard is solid plastic and has a long hook which slips over a belt and does not move. I also like that the knife clicks into the scabbard and is held there without a fastener over the handle. It has the right tension so won’t fall out, but is easy to pull out at the same time.Delivery was next day with Prime and the knife was very well packaged to protect it and the handlers. In summary it is an exceptional knife for the price though only caveat being I haven’t used it for a significant period yet to comment on the durability.
