Review: Great CPU for the price - Great CPU for the price, paired with my 1050Ti it gets 300+ fps with csgo, and over 60fps on most games at 1080p. Most of the time it is above 3.4Ghz with the boost clock, and it stays very cool. The stock fan is great, runs completely silent and keeps it below 30C when idle and usually around 40C in use, which is very good. My only problem with this is that it comes in the box upside down, so when you open it make sure the intel text is the facing down otherwise it may fall out like mine. Also, be careful when handling the fan, I stupidly put my finger on the thermal paste when I first grabbed it. It wasn't hard to wash out and it doesn't seem to be affecting the cooling at all, but I'm probably going to have to reapply it sooner than others. I recently got around to upgrading my relatively old PC, and replaced an i3-7100 with this. Naturally, the performance was much better, given the fact that I doubled the number of cores and size of the L1, L2 and L3 caches.
