Review: A great product. - Bought these glides to help get my old washing machine into a very snug space. The floor is a vinyl tile (like Karndean). They worked perfectly and it slid along the floor with ease. I was worried about whether the adhesive on the pads would stick to the old rubber feet on the washing machine, but this hasn't been an issue. I was also concerned that the washer would 'walk' back out when spinning due to the low friction surface, but this has been fine too. The good thing is that movement is often due to the washer not being level, and with these easy glide feet it's easy to pull the machine back out and re-level if required. A great product. Review: Makes moving a heavy washing machine almost effortless! - Moving the washing machine and dishwasher in and out for maintenance and cleaning has always been a bit problematic. The washing machine especially is difficult to manoeuvre - I've tried using bits of cardboard to help the feet to slide and prevent damage to the vinyl floor in my kitchen without much success. Faced with having to move both machines out for some DIY, I ran a search on desertcart for a more permanent solution, found these MagiGLIDE appliance movers and purchased two packs. They were easy to fit - just remove the paper backing from the adhesive pad, tilt the machine, apply the MagiGLIDE appliance movers to the appliance feet and leave for about 15 minutes to allow the adhesive on the pad to grip. So do the MagiGLIDE appliance movers work? In short, YES!!! It was so easy to slide both machines back into position without having to strain. The big advantage I see for this solution over the appliance movers with rollers is that they are low profile. If you have a small gap between the appliance and the kitchen worktop, as I do, the appliance movers with rollers wouldn't work. These MagiGLIDE appliance movers work a treat!

works...sort of!!!
after doing up the kitchen I was not wanting the same problems as I had with moving the fridge washing machine etc . So like others went a looking for something and found these things. Now all they are is a bit of plastic so I fail to see why so expensive...but the new lino was even more expensive so based on reviews on Amazon, ordered a set Arrived and opened the packet and was exactly as it shows...wee round bits of plastic with double side tape stuck on them. Cleaned the washing machine feet with some G101 and made sure there was no dirt etc on the feet...and stuck the things on...to have them promptly fall off again Bit of contact glue, a wee wait and then tried again ...they fell off again !!!! some different glue and just let the washing machine sit with them things on this time, After all that they do work and the washing machine moved over the new flooring with no damage, and has not moved as the machine has been used so not bad but could be better with a stronger double sided tape or something ...and a bit on the expensive side for 4 bits of plastic

A bit too good!
After struggling to move the washing machine and dishwasher for a new kitchen and floor to be fitted I decided there must be something out there to make life easier when putting them back. Found the Magiglide on amazon and after reading the reviews thought they were worth a try. Putting them on both appliances was easy for 2 people and they work a treat, both appliances move easily now. Even the floor fitters were impressed with them. However, there is one problem with them that I have found. Because they are so good at what they do the washing machine moves out from under the work top when on the spin part of the cycle. My new floor is a Karndean floor who endorse this product. I have found a sort of solution for this in the form of a couple of little grip pads that came with my LG washing machine that are designed to stop the machine moving on a wooden floor. They are the same as the strip of non slip material you get on step ladders, like pieces of sand paper with a sticky bottom to keep them in place. I have been able to place 2 under the front feet but its impossible to get them under the back feet. They have stopped the washing machine from coming out from under the work top but it still moves to the side. So reluctantly I may have to remove the magiglides.

First class product and excellent customer service.
I bought a set of these gliders to help move the washing machine in our utility. Previously I’ve had to rely on strength and brute force both of which are in ever decreasing supply these days. With a decorating job on the cards, I was looking for something to help with the spin dryer and freezer as well as the washer and this product proved ideal. Initially, I bought just one set to see how well they performed. Things were looking good until the adhesive pad came away from one of the gliders, probably getting wet from residual water left in the washing machine drum. An email to Magiglide quickly resolved the problem. They sent me several sets of replacement pads by return. Just to be clear, the gliders are not castors so you still have to push a bit! They are discs made from PTFE and elastomer rubber which attach to the feet of whatever you want to move. I have no hesitation in recommending this product and have since ordered another set to fit to the freezer and dryer.
