When filled with water it will weigh approximately 1.6 kg. **Q: we purchased one in Rome this year - used on a daily basis - however this cannot be used as coffee/unit the cannot be moved - help please?** A: Sorry, can't understand the question. **Q: Is this really stainless steel?** A: This model is aluminium. Bialetti, among other manufacturers, does produce express coffee makers in stainless steel. Have a look at http://www.espresso-machines-and-coffee-makers.com/stainless-steel-stovetop-espresso-maker.html to see various illustrations. **Q: How much coffee does the 18 cup pot make in millilitres please?** A: We have the 9 cup Bialetti, and fill it with just under 500ml of water. In our experience, there is always a little water left in the reservoir after the coffee is made. For the the 18 cup Bialetti, I would assume that you would just double the amount. Hence, one would probably fill the 18 cup Bialetti with just less than 1 litre of water which would make just less than 1 litre of coffee. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bialetti - Moka Express: Iconic Stovetop Espresso Maker, Makes Real Italian Coffee, Moka Pot 18 Cups (27 Oz - 810 Ml), Aluminium, Silver - Bialetti Stainless Steel Plate, Heat Diffuser Cooking Induction Adapter, Steel, 6 pints - Illy Intenso Ground Drip Coffee, Bold Roast, Intense, Robust And Full Flavored With Notes Of Deep Cocoa, 100% Arabica Coffee, No Preservatives, 8.8oz (Pack Of 1) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.lk/products/47904260-moka-express-aluminium-stovetop-coffee-maker-18-cup-silver](https://www.desertcart.lk/products/47904260-moka-express-aluminium-stovetop-coffee-maker-18-cup-silver) --- *Product available on Desertcart Sri Lanka* *Store origin: LK* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
