Well made
Sturdy, well-made, and fits perfectly. Makes removing and installing wheel bearing locknuts quick and hassle-free. A reliable tool that gets the job done.
User
Works great.
Sadly only needed it for a simple job. Now it will sit in my tool box forever.
User
Junk tool.
Bought this to work on a Toyota wheel bearing. Doesn't fit the 1/2-in socket as it advertises too much paint and slips off of the wheel nut. Makes sense given where it was manufactured.

Works well enough to get the job done.
I used this for the front bearing job on my 99 LX470 which uses 2 54mm nuts to keep the bearings in place. Preloading them is important. They need to be at a certain torque before being backed off to hand tightened, then the outside one needs to also be set at a certain ft lb.The ding bat who worked on the car before me used a chisel or flathead and a hammer to basically bang the nut in place, and I guarantee they don't know what they torqued it to. After grinding down the nuts to get rid of the gouges, the socket fit the nuts perfectly. That being said, the "3/8" hole for my torque wrench was way too small. Basically had to hammer the socket on in order to get it to stay, then hammer it off to remove it. It did the job well, but QC leaves much to be desired. Thankfully I shouldn't need to use this ever again, but if I do I know I have the right tool.

Exactly what it needs to be.
Not fancy or anything. It's exactly what it needs to be.
User
Works perfect
Used this on my 99 toyota landcruiser front axles. Perfect fit for the job.
User
Poor tolerance control
Works but barely. Very loose on the locking nuts and my 3/8 ratchets (multiple brands) will not fit in the receiver. Would not recommend this brand
User
wont work because it dont fit
measures 53 mm and wont fit at all...nice work. worthless

Irreplaceable tool for rebuilding Land Cruiser front axle hubs and setting bearing preload.
If you're shopping for this, you are probably planning to rebuild your Land Cruiser's front hubs. Good luck and make sure to pack the bearings with lots of grease!
