Q: what is the size of the plate inside i. e. 12" diameter ??

The plate inside my Daewoo Microwave is 10" diameter.

Q: Can u see the food cooking easily through the glass?, Does this microwave have vents on top? Thanks.

It is not easy to see the food cooking but a helpful "ding" tells you when the time is done. There are no vents on top.

Q: I'm looking for a mini microwave to use temporarily as my usual one spoilt. Is this a good one?

I really like this microwave. Everything on it continues to work properly (I've had ones that went wrong right away); it has very simple controls - no fancy features - and is good to look at. The only thing I find you have to be careful about is that it is rather vertically-challenged, and so liquids can be slopped over if you forget that and knock the container against the top of the microwave door when you take it out. Otherwise, i would say perfect, especially if it's just to be going on with, as it is not at all pricey.

Q: How long is the lead?

About 60 cms. But our problem is the numbers,and markings around the timer nob rub off. It happened with the first which was replaced and again with the one we have now. We've had words with them and they offered to replace it with another model. We kept what we have as it is basic and easy to use, but it looks a mess
