Each button is color coded to take advantage of Scratch LIVE's extensive keyboard shortcuts for both the left and right decks including control and alt key combinations. The newest Keyboard Cover for Serato Scratch LIVE(R) now utilizes a Colored Checkerboard design (clear with colored buttons), which allows to better match the new unibody MacBook Pro notebooks, allows the caps light to be visible, and increases the visibility of the shortcuts. In addition, the cover has been updated to include shortcuts for the SP-6 Sample Player and shortcuts from Scratch LIVE 2.0. The covers are produced by the US manufacturer KBcovers and are made of durable, ultra-thin silicone and perfectly molded to fit the old and new 13" MacBook or the new MacBook Pro (13",15" &17") PowerBook. They will not slip or slide. In addition, the covers have a silky smooth feel so they are soft and comfortable to the touch and will not restrict typing. Good qualtiy
If you use Serato with a Macbook then this is a nice product so you dont press something you shouldnt during a DJ Set.Its not essential tbh but it fits really nice and does not take away the sensitivity of the keys once you overlay it.I would say its a bit overpriced though should be £15-£20 in my opinion not £30
