OXO Good Grips Accent Mess-Free Pepper Grinder, Silver

This review echoes all the other 5⭐ ratings!I had some fancy electric salter grinders that despite doing there job well , ate batteries and needed constant filling!Like many we're changing things to be environmentally friendly and save money.I'd seen these grinders in a restaurant and took a photo, thanks to Google they popped up.Purchased here on Amazon as I couldn't find them in any local shops, despite asking nobody could order. .The grinders came pre filled which was nice , they've super easy to live with and to refill.Unscrew the cap in the base and that's it , fill up and screw back on.They hold enough salt and pepper to last well over a month of heavy daily use plus they deliver a great measure per twist !The adjustment slide is nice and chunky while been a nice simple mechanical mechanism with visual dots and a satisfying slide into the next setting.Fine to course ! The grinding parts are ceramic and have dealt with pepper corns and rock salt like they're nothing.The twist grip is robust and is easy to grip , the size is great for elderly people or those with reduced grip.The Stainless coating is tough , they look great on the table and they're really satisfying to use as they're so well designed!

Upside down grinders mean that no mess is left on the table.Easy to change grinding size - fine to coarse with the flick of an easy to use lever.Easy to refill - can be unscrewed and filled easilyGrinding grip makes easy to use for stuff hands.I like everything about this. OXO has totally delivered on a number of my every day kitchen gadgets. I also love the little scrubby detail brushes. Some person has stolen the one with the rubber finger on the end and I will be buying a new one.The only one I don’t like is the dustpan and brush.Well done design team.

If, like me, you've been suffering for your art with an old wooden mill - there is and answer and here it is.There are a number of things I like about these which make them pretty much spot on for me...... in no particular order; They are good to grip... you hold onto the whole body of the thing and twist the grooved and grippy rubber end which provides a positive action; The shaft between the rubber handle and the actual grinder feels very solid - how it should be; the mechanism seems well engineered and crushes without any judder; the resistance between the handle and the body is none existent so all force used turning the unit is translated to the milling action; there is no interruption of flow of salt/pepper to the grinder; the outlet is at the top of the mill so there's no mess; the quality is robust and well finished; refilling is a joy - there's a huge unscrewable opening at the bottom of the unit.The granulation size is simply adjustable and from fine (it is very fine) through to coarse (very coarse) in 5 easy stages - I thought that this was a little gimmicky but it isn't - you can add a lot of salt/pepper while cooking and seasoning - and a fine powder at the table.They work so well and are so well made that I'm actually getting to quite like the design - they look a lot better in the "flesh" than they do in pictures....

Great item, best salt & pepper mills. Would have been 5 stars but did not know the pepper mill was loose so when I used it 1st time I lost all the free peppercorns across the floor. Not happy. Good job I had spares in the cupboard.

Great grinder from a well known brand. It seems really solid and I’m going to use them for various spices. Hoping it’s last, it certainly feels solid. Yes a bit more expensive than the others but if it last rather than having to buy another one every six months then worth it.

Works really well Different setting for size. Sits on my counter with the mechanism upwards so it doesn’t make a mess. Looks good and is a good size for gripping and using. Arrived full of peppercorns Really happy with purchase

I've always been a fan of OXO's kitchen gadgets. This set is a breeze to use, and putting the grinder mechanism at the top instead of the base? Genius! No more pepper dust on my counters—hooray! Truely "mess free" as they state.I have had my set for around 2 years and my parents came round the other day to cook a roast together and my dad picked up this set and was blown away so I have bought him a set too.

Perfect for the job. Easy to turn with minimal force, good output rate that's easy to control, sturdy. Upright stand design looks a little less tidy, but prevent any contents spilling.
