The Kids' Book of Wordsearches 1 (Buster Puzzle Books) Paperback – 6 April 2017

This was a great buy. My 9 year old son loves doing these wordsearches. Small book so easy to take anywhere.

Great little book, perfect distraction for out and about. Good selection of levels, so depending on ability of the child, some are easy enough to do solo, where as others might be fun together and more of a challenge.

My daughter's form teacher suggested this little book as a way of getting my (rather idle!) daughter to exercise her brains during the long school holidays. It's small enough to fit into a bag or pocket and is a good source of entertainment for plane or train journeys or in restaurants while waiting to be served. The puzzles seem like fun rather than school work, yet she is still using her brain and extending her vocabulary, so we are both happy. Puzzles are arranged in order of difficulty, from easy to more difficult, and all the answers are at the back of the book. I bought the Kids' Book of Crosswords at the same time and, despite being the same size and format, it cost 80p less, so am deducting a star from this review due to the price difference.

My 7yr old grandson loves this. I use it to entice him away from his ipad - and he enjoys doing them.

The book is a lot smaller than I anticipated. I assumed it would be bigger with chunky print to allow a first timer to get accustomed to word searching. But it’s pocket sized which is good for a child’s backpack or mum’s purse.From the beginning there are words hidden diagonally and backwards, which is challenging for new starters.Saying that my 4yr old has taken to it like a duck to water and really enjoys the themed pages and progressing through the stages.

I bought this book for my 6yr old son to help him spell. It worked. While he is looking for the words he is also learning how to spell. The book is a nice size to keep in your handbag and take with you when you go out for meals, doctors, anywhere where you might have to wait. It stops them from being bored. A great buy, a great price. A must.

Kept my grandson amused on a 4 hour flight. Recommended for peace and quiet
