So much better than recharging small lights
Bought this for the hallway.It's a game changer no need to find light switch.Comes on long enough to do and see what you need.Quality item.Gives enough light.Great value for money compared to normal light bulb.Put in and leave on so easy to use.Speed of sensor is lighting fast.Perfect for any room where you walking through or stair well areas.

Does it's job well.
I originally bought a different version of this for my stairs landing and it worked really well, detecting motion and lighting up the area perfectly when anyone moved into the space, but it was a really harsh white and was nothing like as warm as any of the other light bulbs in the house.This one is much better for indoors in the house. It is a warm light, pretty much like most of my other light bulbs and the motion detection works well. It only stays on for about 10 seconds after movement has stopped and this isn't able to be changed. I would like a little longer but it does the job well overall and saves energy and costs compared to an always on or non-LED bulb.

Died after 2 years
not sure if that's long or short for a lightbulb - but bought in 2023, died 2025. worked well when working, used an entry way light to switch on when motion detected and off when no one is walking, very useful spot for motion triggered light to negate need to turn on manual switch especially if coming in with groceries or my bicycle and dont have a freehand to turn on the lightswitch. Update 2025 - works again like a charm out of the box, happy with purchase. lets see if I end up updating this review in 2027

Works well
Works well, have this with a shade over it (hanging down) near the front door, people walking by outside does not trigger it. No more tripping over the damn cat for me!

The bulb does not work all the time
I want this light in a corridor/utility room where there is some indirect daylight. Often, the bulb lights OK when approached. But on many occasions it fails to light --- this may happen more when there is more ambient light, but I still want the bulb to light then. There is nothing with the product to say that it does not work when there is ambient light.

Perfect for porch
Hated leaving the porch light on of an evening. This works amazing very pleased with it. It’s lasted so far

It’s been less than 15 days and the bulb has come off. Not good!
