Q: How Thick is the cable?

I don't have calipers to measure accurately, but by eye I would say 4.0mm - 4.5mm.

There are two types of lock for the Dell laptops I Lloyd on the Dell website and found a Kensington type lock with a different locking ‘claw’ that fitted.
