Q: can you use hair gel before the fibres, or after?

I use a light layer of hairspary on bare scalp and surrounding hairs after parting, sprinkle on fibres, comb hair back in place, light spray all over.

Q: Is this product water proof / resistant?

It stays on in the rain but obviously comes out when you wash your hair.
