Yes, you will just have a mismatch of colours that's all. This charging kit comes with two rechargeable batteries to be used with the cradle. You can not use other rechargeable battery packs with this cradle, only the packs it comes with.

what is the average time it takes to charge one pack

normal charge about 20 - 30 mins if you have them charging on & off during the day! But first charge always takes longer - up to 4hrs. I give this 10/10 definite buy!!!

bought this in aug2014 and now 1 of the controllers wont charge. when put on the charger the red light flashes(supposed to be solid red). whats wrong?
