Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power Men's Razor with Flexball Technology

This is both an excellent piece of engineering and relatively expensive. I use in a special razor which also has a battery operated vibration. So when you shave, you get a vibration that goes with it. This has the effect of giving you a very clean and almost effortless shave. I can only talk about my experience, but my eldest son also uses it (early thirties) and enjoys the shave. The result can also depend on your skin I suppose, but I would guess with a good lather it will give the vast majority an excellent shave. Its the closest shave I get and I use a number of other razors too, depending on where I am.

This is a great shaving blade, yes it is expensive there's no denying that. But what you get is an extremely close shave, no other blade seems to match this that is commercially available. I shave daily, yes everyday and one blade lasts me at least 4-6 weeks, approximately 30-40 shaves.My suggestion to anyone having issues with blades not allowing a smooth shave, would be ensure you are buying from Amazon directly. Or ensure your purchasing from a reputable authorised "Gillette" reseller. Doing either should greatly reduce the probability of you receiving a fake blade. I will be clear up front, i am a woman. I bought this as i have always bought mens razors as they are cheaper and more effective.My old handle was wearing out which was the manual version of this one, and so decided to invest a few pounds more and purchase the power version.Mine came with the battery already inserted, and was ready to go straight out of the packaging. It is very quiet, just a small humming sound, it feels so nice on the skin, you can barely feel that it is even on your skin. As always when shaving you must use soap, shaving gel, or hair conditioner before shaving to decrease irritation.Yes hair condtioner. Try it. Leaves your skin so soft..Anyway it shaved very closely, was great for my underarms and legs, obviously as the blades are so close together you will need to rinse the blade out more, but as i do all my shaving in the shower this was not an issue for me.The flexball head is fantastic contouring to all the curves of your underarms and places like your knees.I dont know why but womens razors just dont give you the same results.At time of purchase this was £12. I would buy it again.

This was a replacement for a similar item whose battery contacts had become a bit intermittent.I have sensitive skin, and most razors give me a rash. The Fusion 5 Proglide Power razor is far and away the best I've ever used.It isn't cheap though.

A superb product that gives you a close accurate shave without damaging skin. The handle is a perfect fit for either left or right hand and the blades have a huge range of movement through an ingenious design of the various components. A well balanced product that excels in every aspect. Well done team.

This is the cheapest place to buy replacement blades and gives the best value for money. The Gillette 5 blade gives a really good shave when the blade is absolutely brand new but tends to need to be replaced quite quickly. Fortunately there’s bit too much packaging with this product but it is all plastic. When I need replacement blades this is where I come.

I confess that when this order was delivered sans Gillette's normal packaging (ie the 8 blades were sent packed in their plastic containers only and slotted into a piece of cardboard to separate them as opposed to normal Gillette packaging in a sealed box as supplied at Tesco etc..) I was a little suspicious as to the provenance of the product. However, I am now on week 3 of the first blade and can say thet the quality of the shave now is as good as the first shave 3 weeks ago. Of course I have a further 7 blades to go but the first experience is positive. I will say that I have been using Fusion Power Blades for some time now and it has to be said that they all vary; some are excellent but others leave a lot to be desired. That notwithstanding and being the cheapskate that I am, I always use each blade for 4 weeks without too much trouble.

My old faithful fusion5 packed up. All those years of trimming was too much. I needed a replacement. Decided to go for the Wilkinson. Sorry but no comparison. The motor was as loud as a jet engine and it didn’t cut as close. Had to return it. Got another Gillette and it cuts as smooth as a pint of Guinness is to a tired man after a hard shift in a hospital.Now that I have his big brother in my bathroom I’m sure that my old Fusion5 can RIP.

The Gillette Proglide Power Razor is a fantastic one.

Rasoir qui vibre avec 5 lames et une petite lame supplémentaire pour la moustache.Cela commence à faire bcp 5 lames mais globalement efficace.Le système de vibration joue sans doute un rôle supplémentaire pour que le rasage soit plus doux et efficace.Bref, barbe dure rasée en 1 ou 2 passages au lieu des 6 ou 7 passages précédemment avec un MACH3. Donc peau moins irritée après le rasage. Je recommande même si les lames sont plus chères, elles durent peut-être plus longtemps (pas encore de recul suffisant pour cela).

Il est vrai que les lames qui vont avec sont chères, mais on débourse pour de la qualité.Rase de près et vraiment bien.Très bonne ergonomie.Compatible avec des lames fusion 5 également (elles sont légèrement moins chères je crois).Le côté "gadget" du manche qui vibre et vraiment agréable lors du rasage.Le produit se démarque totalement des rasoirs bas de gamme.Je recommande.
