Amazing product! Would highly recommend!
I ordered this camera to use as a baby monitor and I must say that I am more than happy with this product as I did not expect so much quality for such a low price. Included in the box: -Camera -Power adapter -Mounting accessories -Installation guide Some useful functions: -Motion sensor -720p HD -Wide angle lens -Infra Red / Night vision -Built in microphone - Wireless streaming via wifi This is a very handy little product for a whole range of things. It has crystal clear imaging thanks to the 720p Hd and the night vision / infra red is also very clear and bright (even in complete darkness). The device is made from a strong and durable feeling plastic material and can be mounted on the wall, the roof, the floor or can stand freely thanks to the fully rotatable, ball in socket type, adjustable stand. The camera also has a built in microphone to insure that, not only can you see what's going on in your place of interest, but you can also hear what's going on and the sound is also very clear. There is also a motion sensor built in to the camera which will alert you to any movement in the area around the camera. The product is very light and small which allows for it to be mounted or placed virtually anywhere, I have my camera mounted only with sticky pads which saved a lot of drilling and screwing, and also means that it is very easily repositioned should you want to move it around your house. All in all I think this is an excellent little camera and I was surprised by the quality of the image and the quality of the product as a whole. I have rated this product 5 stars because it is great value for money and is very easy to install and use. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has small children or anyone who would like to keep an eye on their home and personal possessions while away from home. As with all of my reviews, this is a completely honest and unbiased review and I hope it helped you in choosing the right camera for your CCTV needs. If you found this review helpful please click the yes button, it would be much appreciated.

Reliable camera, good support
The camera is fairly easy to set up. You must place the phone and camera very close to the router when configuring - within 30cm worked for me. After that it was easy to view the video remotely. The picture quality is excellent and the camera works reliably (reconnecting properly after the router is rebooted and having its IP address changed by the ISP, for example). Remember that when you are viewing the video, the video stream is going via a third party server so consider that when deciding what video to send. As with all IP cameras, the camera must be broadcasting your IP address to a server which stores it so that it knows where the incoming video stream is coming from. It's pretty important to set up a strong password otherwise other people could view the video and even alter the camera settings (if they guess your IP address). I wanted to do something more elaborate with the camera - namely create time-lapse movies. Although this feature is not directly available as an option I received good and timely responses from the support people at Shenzhen Wansview Technology Co. I'd recommend this camera if nothing else but for the very good customer support provided.

Too hit and miss!
Ok when it works! Took ages to in itially commect, you have to try a number of times. Then you get a lag on your viewing via the app, sorts itself out but then randomly the view is black and a blue circle is showing as though its buffering. Went a full day with no images. So i rate the wuality of the images when available to view, don`t rate the wansview app one bit. Pretty naff experience so far.

Easy to install and good pic plus excellent backup at a very good price
After comparing several cameras similar to this I thought this looked good and chose it partly due to the price and what they said it would do. I have been very pleased with it so far. I hit two problems while setting up which I e-mailed Wansview about and got an immediate response answering my questions making set up very easy indeed The camera quality is fine and gives a view of the entire room it is in to a good degree of quality, the sound is as good as you could expect - the only minor problem being that now and then the image freezes for a few moments - which I suspect may be down to my internet speed which is slow and nothing to do with the camera. I am pleased to find it can be viewed both on my mobile phone and on my laptop. I think it is exceedingly good value for money, came quickly in the post and was well packaged. It is a nice piece of kit and I am very happy - but what has impressed me most was the speed and helpfulness of the backup when I had questions. I would certainly recommend this

Offline in app
The camera was perfect the first couple of days, and now, it keeps on showing up as offline in the app. I was quite disappointed. I hope someone can help me with this issuue

Value for money.
I have two of these K2 cams. The Android app seems somewhat clunky with wholly unnecessary permission requests so I use the excellent Onvifer instead which I can use to remotely view the cams via DDNS. My primary use of these however is as security cams - one facing the front of the house and one in my living room (I have another make of cam elsewhere too). The wide angle view is perfect for both locations. I record the RTSP stream using ffmpeg to my server upstairs in one hour chunks via a cron job. Unfortunately, the 720p stream is full of artifacting and graphical glitches so I'm forced to use the 640x480 stream (and yes, I do have the necessary bandwidth on my LAN). This records flawlessly but obviously the picture clarity is somewhat worse. It's a real shame. This would have got 5 stars otherwise. Now, my two cams have different firmware versions. The newer firmware allows for selection of the different resolution streams just by altering the RTSP URL. The older firmware however only has one URL for the stream and resolution has to be changed via the cams internal settings. The only way to get the newer firmware appears to be via email but Wansview declined my request! Another issue I have is with "phoning home". The older firmware is constantly bombarding my router with requests, most of which are an Amazon cloud IP. The other IP is in China somewhere. I block these from outgoing at the router. The newer firmware is better behaved but still naughty. Despite the issues I'm still giving it 4 stars though as it's such good value for money. The lower resolution feed works great and I have 24/7 recording with no interruption. Some access IPs... you'll have to add the http and rtsp parts to the beginning yourself as Amazon won't publish this review when I include them :( HTTP settings - from browser over LAN (Flash viewer): IP/main.html?id=1&playtype=fv RTSP feed (720p): USER:PASS@IP:554/live/ch0 RTSP feed (640x480): USER:PASS@IP:554/live/ch1 To use both cams via DDNS I don't use the default port of 554, they both have a different port, passed through my router. It has to be changed in the cam's settings as well. I have not tried motion detection. The night vision is clear and bright but I have it turned off for the cam in the window as the reflection is extensive.. I have turned off the LEDs on the cams as I don't want this visible on my cam in the window! Update (4th Feb 2019): The newer camera will now record the 720p stream correctly without artifacting, so very happy! This is possibly due to a firmware update on my router but I can't be certain. As this cam is indoors I also record the audio, which whilst low quality is certainly audible. I did have to up the volume in the cam's settings though.
