I have used them in prop design (I made a chandelier for a local theater), and this year I used them in Christmas tree decorations (sorry about the picture of the tree - I don't think I had them all turned on!). But the way they flicker like real candles AND the fact that you can control them with a remote makes them so easy to use in almost any setting. They come with small stakes, clips, suction cups/hangers, and a couple snowflake holders (I wish there were more of those). Each candle takes a AAA battery, and the remote takes 2 AAA batteries (so be prepapred to buy a gross of them - desertcart's batteries are very good quality for the price). But very versatile, gorgeous, and highly recommended!

Exactly the smaller size I was looking for. Christmas tree design is much better quality and more attractive than expected. Includes instructions which are difficult to decipher, but if you keep at it the timers do work. Be patient. Not sure about battery life yet. Takes two AAA batteries and has lasted almost a week, timed for six hours, without visibly dimming. Like them!
