Taskar Heavy Duty Picture & Mirror Hanger Z Bar 150mm 6" + Easy Level

Needed something to be safe for a mirror over the stairs. Was worried anything else might not work. This is absolutely the best solution to the problem. I didn’t hang a very heavy mirror as I bought a light weight one before finding these fittings but might replace mirror for a heavier one. Bought the longer fitting for the top and the shorter for the bottom of the mirror but as the mirror isn’t heavy I didn’t use the shorter bottom one. It’s so secure and so easy to fit.

Like all the best ideas - simple but effective! Has taken the guess work out of hanging pictures and mirrors around the house and means you can be confident in the strength of the fitting. The included spirit level means that it is all but impossible to not hang things straight

The Z bar consists of two blades with different sets of screws provided for each blade. The screws provided for the frame were smaller than the holes in the blade. Luckily my husband is an DIY expert and he saved the day by drilling a smaller set of holes, adequate to the size of the screws, so they don't get through. The holes on the other bar, that is attached to the wall, were perfect fit for the screws provided. Once the adjustment was done, hanging the mirror was very simple and effective. Also, when I cleaned the mirror, I noticed that it wobbles a little bit (more than it would if it's hanged on two separate hooks), not an issue, just a note. 4 stars purely for the extra drilling that needed to be done.

The screws supplied are small; I new they were. I used my own. A spirit level is supplied as stated. I like the product.

These products were amazing, I'm utterly and completely satisfied, they worked a treat, easy to fit and very strong. After fitting them and hanging my new painting I popped open a bottle of champers in celebration. In my excitement I the fired the cork across the room, hitting the expensive watercolour painting and punching a hole right through it! The resulting spray of champagne soaked the said painting, causing the water soluble paint to run in an admittedly attractive way but i'm certain not what the artist had in mind. In my horror I dropped the still spurting bottle on my foot, breaking two metatarsal bones and sending me stumbling face first into the unfortunate painting, smudging the wet paint across my face and further adding to the new 'fauvist' look of the painting. Through out all this mayhem the Z Bars held firm even as my face dragged down the artwork, my teeth sinking into the lower portion of the frame, breaking it in two and pulling the ruined artwork into a soggy mess over my head. 5 Stars for the Z Bars, none for me!

The heads of screws for attaching to the mirror are not big enough to safely secure the bracket, thankfully had appropriate spares but shouldn't have to supply parts which are meant to be included.Otherwise happy for the price and serves the purpose it was bought for well.

I wish I had discovered these beauties years ago!This is a perfect solution for hanging large and/or heavy items on walls.Not only do the brackets give you a sturdier fitting, they make it much easier to hang your item straight which can be difficult to achieve using individual wall plugs.I now use these brackets in different sizes to hang mirrors.Highly recommended.
