Does 1 strip test for all values or is it 1 strip per test, i.e. 1 strip for ammonia and 1 strip for nitrate etc? Thanks in advance

1 strip for all values.Strip changes colour when dipped in water and you determine values by comparing colour on strip to colour on chart provided.Very easy and quick to use and great for identifying any problems with water quality.Best done during daylight as easier to match colours in good natural light

Does this test for ammonia?

Hi Georgie, I have tried nearly all the test kits on the market for both freshwater fish and marine, of which I have 10 tanks of both. Hagen Nutrafin is my own personal choice, although I have to say API are very good indeed. As for dip testers I never use them, from experience they are nowhere near the mark when it comes to critical testing such as Ammonia, PH, Nitrite, and Nitrate, the 4 must do tests. Just my view, but I have learned the hard way, incorrect readings and loss of fish. Hope this helps you.

cut them in half length ways and you get 50 strips i never said this and i wasnt here lol
