I have been using these Cashier Plain Pocket Journals for the best part of 10 years now. For me they are the perfect note book. They look lovely and their size is perfect to carry around in a pocket. Add a small pen and you have a great combination to capture thoughts, poems, literary ideas or sketch. I love a blank page, particularly a plain note book; it is so versatile and full of possibilities. The paper quality is excellent and it feels great to write on either with a roller ball or a fountain pen. I generally keep the books for separate and discrete functions. Prayer diary, things I read and want to capture, writing ideas etc. In this way, these journals become works of art and memory in their own right. Something to keep and treasure. The back 16 pages are perforated which might be useful for some. The back page also has a useful pocket which can hold other paperwork - business cards and flyers you might pick up whilst out and about. If I heard that Moleskine were discontinuing this notebook, I would purchase a lifetime supply!

Great little books love them!

These are nice notebooks to carry around in a pocket for a quick note though the pages don’t do well with gel ink or fountain pen ink as I have seen a little bleed through. It’s completely fine with ballpoint ink and I do tend to come back to buy these as they are about the size of a 6.1 inch iPhone and I personally like the Kraft cover.

I bought these to use for a Christmas project. I sewed fabric to the front of them in a random patchwork fashion, and then gave them to arty members of my family with instructions that they had to do a sketch a day for 2 months. I was trying to get their creative juices flowing - and it worked. They loved it! Just the right size for carrying around, nice paper, not very expensive.

A classic pocket notebook. Simple, durable for what it is. the stitch binding, perforations and the pocket in the back are appreciated details at this price. My only complaint is that the paper is very thin and will easily show through many types of pen ink, especially if you are not a light handed writer. For the price, this is an excellent buy though I would happily trade in a few pages for a little denser or thicker paper.

These are tiny little blank booklets. There's 3 in a pack. Fits gret for the tiny Midori Passport size notebooks and a fraction of the price of the Midori refills.

Llevo mucho tiempo usándolos además del clásico modelo Moleskine. Este es un tamaño y un formato que me resulta muy útil. Calidad Moleskine pero en formato plano con cubierta de cartón cosido al centro.

These notebooks... are my life. I manage two small businesses and am a graduate student. I use Evernote to scan and upload to save the pages (I used to keep the notebooks but that doesn't work well). The system I have works great. I write out any thoughts I have on the notebooks. I use a sharpie pen which is bold and doesn't run. When the notebooks get full I sit down with a coffee or whatever and go through them. I scan the pages that I feel are important and upload them to Evernote. Then I recycle the notebook (these ones are nothing but paper so there's no concern for environmental issues, per se). I tried so many notebooks... I've been in college for, my god... so freaking long... I always keep one of these with me. I can stow one in my motorcycle pocket, there's one next to my bed, and a few in my messenger bag... it's a great buy for me, and I have no interest, at this point, in buying any other kind of notebook. I just took a 4 hour exam, and had one next to me to take scribbles and do equations and put thoughts. I know that Moleskines are overpriced, but I get a lot out of them, and with the right pen they are really smooth to write on. I have carpel tunnel pretty bad and it bothers me far less with these than anything else.
