Cost effective treatment for dogs
Has proved very effective for our dog who has suffered with dodgy bowel movements for years. A few days have made a massive difference and saved a lot of vet's bills. Dog swallows the tablets easily and they have no effect on appetite. Will be a must have item in the cupboard.

From Explosive to Expressive: A Journey of Gastrointestinal Adventure
I know we've all been there, dealing with our furry friends' less-than-solid situations. But fear not, because I've stumbled upon a remedy that's wilder than a dog chasing its own tail – VetQ Stool Firm, the superhero of puppy diarrhea tablets! I gave these tablets to my furball, who'd been producing puddles that would make a Great Dane jealous. And lo and behold, the transformation was more astonishing than a magician pulling a rabbit out of a hat – or in this case, a sausage out of a pup's behind! Within hours, my pup's rear-end had gone from Picasso to a Michelangelo – a masterpiece of solid, artistic elegance! I must admit, administering these tablets was a comedy routine in itself. Picture me chasing my pup around the house like Benny Hill, tablet in hand, and the pup doing its best Usain Bolt impression. It was a sprint worthy of the Olympics – if the Olympics included events like "Catch the Canine and Conquer the Diarrhoea Dilemma." So if you're tired of playing hopscotch with puppy puddles give VetQ Stool Firm a whirl. It worked for Monty.

Seems to be working?
My dog has recently developed an interested in eating her mess… but I’ve seen her avoid it a few times when I give her these.

Great for frail seniors
My tiny little 3lb Yorkie is getting old. She will be 14 in January. She has always been a bit of a sickly dog, throwing up and loose stools, and quite fussy with her food. She has also always been very skinny. When she was younger this wasn't too much of a problem, but recently her hips, spine and ribs have become visible and obvious to the touch. She's not unwell, she's just old and doesn't eat enough to maintain her weight anymore. So I picked up some of this stinky, sticky paste! I've been giving her a pea sized amount on my finger a few times a day, just when she wakes up to toilet and would otherwise have a little snack, and it's helped encourage her to eat afterwards on occasion, although still not in the mornings. She has never eaten in the mornings, but now she doesn't have to! I do sometimes need to put it directly on her tongue as she's not interested at all, but again this isn't new for us. It's quite sticky and smells like meat and malt, which isn't unpleasant but it does linger. Definitely something you need to be able to wash your hands after giving. I don't know exactly how many calories are in this, but she is definitely putting weight back on, which started just a week after introducing this to her diet. It's most evident around her ribs which I'm not worried about getting my finger stuck underneath anymore, and on her spine which feels much less nobbly than it did! Value for money is a hard one to decide, because for me with my tiny dog, the tube will last maybe a month with how regularly I'm giving it to her? I think that's excellent for the price. For someone with a much bigger dog, it may be cheaper to get a prescription from a vet!

Worked for my cat
My cat Honey was having bad diarrhea out of nowhere and I had no idea what was causing it. She then started vomiting and went off her food, she really wasn't herself, so 2 vet trips later, the vomiting stopped due to an anti sickness jab but the diarrhea remained. Luckily I already had these tablets in the house so gave 1 tablet a day for 2 days, the diarrhea stopped completely and normal poop returned 3 days later and my cat is back to normal in every way. My cat was given probiotic paste by the vet but this made her gag and miserable as I had to smear it on her to lick off. These tablets are big and do produce a lot when crushed but are easy to crush. My other cat Thomas had these tablets crushed and mixed in Churu/Lick-e-lix no problem but Honey would not touch it so I sadly had to put the crushed tablet in water and syringe feed her it (with help) but it worked in 2 doses. She had 2 doses of the paste a few days prior which did nothing.

Avoid
The product states that this can be given as a treat. From the first, one of my two dogs would not eat it. It spat it out. The second time I tried it in ham. This only worked once. After that I had to grind it up - AND MIX it in the food. However, after all this effort, it has not worked. So I thought that maybe I was being impatient. I checked the packaging and internal leaflet to see if it was indicated that it would work after a certain amount of time. No mention of this. I went back online to see if there was any mention of this - no. I re-checked the reviews. There was one relevant one which said that if her dog did not get a tablet it would eat its own poo. This implies that it should work immediately and has no lasting effect. Additionally, I discovered it would only work on its own poo and not that of other dogs (this is stated on the packet but I had failed to notice this). I was surprised I chose this product and paid so much when this was not really supported by the reviews. This is not like me. Anyway, based on all the above, my advice is to try a different product. (And if you go to the trouble of reading reviews, pay attention!). Important information to add: I only worked out this morning that these tablets actually have an adverse effect on me. When I crush them to go into the food bowls, I end up coughing and sneezing. I didn't realise this before because I have had a cold. The point is - if they are having this effect on me, what on earth are they doing to my poor dogs? To emphasise my point - I do not suffer from any allergies and am not prone to react to things. I never get side-effects from medication. I really think these need to be examined for harmful effects on dogs.

Excellent Digestive Support — Worked Within Days!
My dog recently had a bout of loose stools, and after some research I decided to try the VETIQ Stool Firm tablets. I noticed a big improvement after just two days. The tablets are easy to give — they can be crushed into food or given whole, and my dog had no trouble taking them. The combination of kaolin and pectin helps to absorb excess moisture and calm the stomach, while pumpkin adds gentle fiber support. I also like that they are suitable for both cats and dogs, so I only need one product for all my pets. The bottle contains 45 tablets, making it good value if used regularly or kept on hand for occasional tummy upsets. These tablets have become part of my pet-care kit. They work quickly, are gentle on the stomach, and really do what they promise — firm up stools and restore healthy digestion. Highly recommended for any pet owner dealing with soft or inconsistent stools.
