This is a great innovation, not only easy to use and install but also easy to clean, does not rust, and once sized it retains the position without problem thanks to the screws that hold the desired length. Also it is extended on both sides so unlike some of the other options available, it does not bend due to uneven weight distribution whereby only one side arm extends but also the rack is more usable as there are no gaping spaces which means that only half the rack is usable on other models. This item always has most of the rack available to use.

The shelf provided a welcome addition to my oven on Christmas Day. A star is lost because a) there are no instructions, though the provision of 4 screws along with 4 holes into which each fits is perhaps a clue as to what to do, and b) the shelf is smaller than it appears in the photo. This will be because it is designed to be adjustable for a wide range of oven sizes. What you see in the photo is at its smallest position. It adjusts by its two side rails moving in or out, but of course there is no adjustment front to back, so in all probability this shelf won't be as deep as the one which came with your oven. In the photo the side rails are fully in, and the shelf appears to be a normal shelf in any oven, whereas in fact in that position it would fit only a narrow oven, perhaps 50cm. My oven is a standard 60cm wide, so the side rails have to be pulled out to fit, but that does leave a gap between the oven walls and the shelf. Just picture those slightly wider gaps on each side in the photo being even wider; no extra rails magically appear! If your oven is wider then this gap will be wider still. When I adjusted the shelf I made it a little bit narrower than the gap so that it was not a tight fit, to allow for a bit of expansion when hot. I tightened up the screws, and it was ready to be used. In practice the reduced depth and the extra gap down each side did not prove to be a problem. I believe some have commented that it is not as heavy gauge and sturdy as the shelf in their ovens but I can see little difference - though my oven was Comet's cheapest, just before they went to the wall. All in all, a good purchase, and certainly solves many problems in the oven.

Well I had to get out my screwdriver, which was annoying at first. However once I screwed in the four screws provided, it left me with a very solid shelf, that fit well. This is a very good quality shelf, second only to one from the manufacturer, that none of us want to pay for. I would buy it again, and again. Its a lot better than a lot of the junk shelves, that are supposed to pull to fit, and then won't fit well. If you want another oven shelf, then my advice is get this one.

Does not match images... it's a flat straight oven shelf not a raised / lowered one so it's less versatile than in the images. The description saying "Universal Extendable Oven Cooker Chrome Shelf Complete with Fixing Screws " is incorrect. There are no fixing screws it just uses friction to hold it to the right length, so it's worth checking each time you use it. It's not as sturdy as a proper oven shelf so I wouldn't put a casserole on it or anything too heavy but it served its purpose at Christmas when I needed more shelves for trays of veg / stuffing / sausages.

Got this for my son and family has they just got a new cooker but only came with one shelf this one is perfect. Easy to install. Good value for money and dose the job.

Having just recently bought a caravan , we realised there was only one shelf in the oven , so set about trying to find another replacement shelf . So purchased one which arrived quicker than stated by a couple of days , the shelf seemed sturdy so took it across to the caravan . It fit perfectly and does the job . So we've ordered a second one to use under the grill would recommend it to anyone .

Wish I had the reviews before buying. It’s absolutely rubbish. As others have said no screws were included (as stated they would be). Screws are already in place and it’s impossible to move them and hence extend it so unusable. To return you have to print out a label and pay postage of £4.00. Item cost £8.00 so you only actually get a £4.00 refund. Avoid and use a reputable company if you need a product like this. Check reviews first. This company is making money from people on false pretences. They probably bank on no returns due to high postage

Was a bit nervous about this purchase as i was skeptical about how easy it would be to adjust to my oven. Pleasantly surprised to find that it was easy to adjust and has had great durability. The shelf itself can get a bit wobbly on occasion so I try not to put heavy items on there. This could be to me being a bit paranoid though! For its price I would highly recommend.
