Bought this for my daughter for her to gain confidence without armbands. So it turns out this was exactly what we were looking for.She was ready to ditch the armbands for some time but never really wanted to go it alone and wasn't confident enough in herself. Of course with more time spent comes confidence but this definitely helped to progress her a long quicker.Snug fit gave her a sense of security and easily adjusted floats to allow her more control rather than the jacket tilting her too far forward. This then allowed her to build up hers arms and muscle memory quickly without the restrictions other bouyancy aids tend to have.As a parent who ers on the side of caution I also found confidence in the jacket, build quality and security it offered. While certainly not to be relied upon as a flotation device this does exactly what it says on the tin, a confidence jacket.
