Hi, I bought this last year for Uni and can say that it is waterproof. I have had my laptop and books in it in many a torrential down poor and everything was still dry when I went into it. Hope this helps. T

I have a 17" Lenovo Y70 laptop and it doesn't fit. I'm sending it back for a refund.
