The duvet is warm and cosy and doesn’t bunch up like other softer duvets.The outer material is of good quality.I would have given 5 stars if it had been a little heavier, as detailed in the description. But it’s very light!

I decided to replace my very old 13.5 tog quilt with this new 15 tog one, after reading reviews and considering prices. I spend more time in bed in the coldest months, so I deserve to be comfortable.The quilt is large and luxurious, and very warm - noticeably an upgrade from my old one. I went with Silentnight as I had bought their excellent pillows earlier in the year, and I wanted a brand name I could trust, for something so important.The material used is nice to the touch and speaks of quality for an affordable price. There’s a reasonable weight to it, but it’s not heavy like some quilts are. I think you need to order a different kind, if you are wanting that.When ordering it said it would ship in it’s own packaging, but I was glad to see Amazon had boxed it up securely for me instead. Anyway, the quilt arrived fully intact, and it easily unpacks once you delicately wrestle with the plastic wrapping.All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase and look forward to a cosy winter.
