Marvel Legends Infinite Series Scarlet Spider

Possibly my favourite alternative Spidey costume done complete justice by Hasbro. Great articulation. Definitely one of my top ten Marvel Legends figures.

So, I bought this figure back in August of 2016, haven't regret this purchase. I bought him for nostalgia and it's always been one of my favorite costumes/characters from this guy's saga. When clones were rampant.This guy came back into the comics with an amazing story that hooked me by just the cover as a kid. Here he was, standing over a defeated Eddie Brock. Back then I bought anything with Venom on it. We got to see this "fake" fight Venom and win without resorting to the normal stuff Spider-man fell back on to beat Venom. He left a pretty good first impression on me as a kid, and I tried my best to follow his adventures monthly.Ben has currently made a return to the comics today, so this figure might be seeing more potential buyers. Marvel has rehashed their clone saga idea and since we already have a handful of Spider people swinging around, they probably figured: "why not bring back another" at least this is the one I was were hoping for. I'll try my best to not spoil anything, but right now we have a different Ben, one who is still struggling to make an identity for himself and be more than just a clone of the man he was created from. Here's hoping Marvel Legends releases a figure of his newer costume. Maybe it'll look better than the promos, or that the changed character doesn't destroy the impression this figure left on some of us.His costume was a cool change, the web shooters, the utility belt, the pouches, the all red costume with the blue sleeveless hoodie. To this day, I love the hell out of the costume, to some it probably screams "the 90's" followed by some explosions. But it will forever be the costume that comes to mind for me when someone mentions Scarlet Spider, Ben Reilly, or Spider Clone.I think this figure captures all of that perfectly. In the past this guy has gotten a few figures:- A few from toybiz. (Where his pouches, belt, and web shooters were plastic snap together pieces.)- A few earlier Marvel Legend(s) figures (His wrists and ankle pieces were accessories, followed by an actual cloth hoodie that could fit over his head)- A giant Scarlet Spider figure from toybiz- Another bigger figure from toybiz that his costume was switchable, changing between Ben Reilly's Scarlet Spider costume to his Spider-man costume.I doubt I named them all off, and that wasn't the point behind that. Just wanting to stress this one is easily my favorite of the ones released in the past.The paint job is well done, he provides plenty of cool poses, and the interchangeable hands give you plenty more poses to work with. The fact his accessories are a part of the figure is a nice touch, cause those things can get lost. If you're buying this for a kid or someone else that likes to put the poses on display.I can say with confidence that if you're a fan of the Scarlet Spider, or Ben Reilly that this figure shouldn't disappoint. Even if you don't know who he is, this is a pretty cool costume change from the usual Red and blue costume you get with Spider-man.If you're here looking for the other Scarlet Spider, or the one from the "Ultimate Spider-Man vs The Sinister Six" show, that abuses the word "punk" more times than a 90's comic/movie. This is not the same character or "Ben"
