Cool experiment
This was a great stem find for me and my kids. They saw a youtube video about ferrofluid and were instantly obsessed. I saw this online and thought it would be a cool way to show it’s properties. they keep playing with all day and are amazed by the motion of the liquid. It’s definitely a cool hands on play and becomes a good show piece aswell.

Pretty cool !!
I picked up this FerroFluid Display Toy mostly out of curiosity, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. Right out of the bottle, the ferrofluid reacts smoothly and dramatically to the included magnet. The magnet is strong enough to create sharp spikes and flowing movements without feeling out of control or messy, which makes it really satisfying to play with. From a functional standpoint, it works exactly as advertised. The fluid moves cleanly inside the sealed bottle, and the response time to the magnet is instant. You can create all kinds of shapes just by changing distance and angle, which keeps it interesting longer than I expected. Value-wise, this feels well worth the price. It’s not just a desk toy it’s entertaining, visually impressive, and sturdy. I’ve had it handled by kids and adults, and it’s held up well with no leaks or cloudiness so far. The bottle feels durable and well sealed, which was one of my bigger concerns going in. For kids, it’s a ton of fun, but there’s also real educational value. It’s a great hands-on way to show how magnetic fields work, and it naturally sparks questions and curiosity. It’s one of those STEM toys that doesn’t feel forced you’re learning without realizing it. Overall, it’s a unique, durable, and engaging little display that’s equally good for learning, stress relief, or just something cool to mess with on your desk. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something fun, educational, and different.

Interesting Magnetic Display
This magnetic display is simple to use and offers a fun way to observe how the ferrofluid reacts to magnets. The sealed glass container feels sturdy, and the movement is smooth and interesting to watch. It also works well as a desk display or for learning about magnetism. Overall, it is an interesting and well-made product.

It's neat. It does what I'd expect ferrofluid in a bottle to do.
I think this is super cool. It seems a pretty regular price point and lots of similar items like it, so I wouldn't call this specific product to be a unique find, but it does what it should. The fluid is enough to look neat, the magnets are strong and usable, and the bottle seems solid. Reactions to it varied a lot so might only be a cool gift to certain geeks, but if I was gifted it I would think it was awesome and unique. I watched videos on how to DIY make ferrofluid and.. it's a long process. Made the $20+ prices for a little bottle much more understandable.

My kids loved this
It really caught my children's attention, so we took a little first step into the world of science :)

Just ok. Expected higher quality.
Not much ferrous fluid in it. And some separated. Overall could be better.

Beware. The stains can be permanent.
My review is more about the lack of warnings about this product than the actual quality of the product. My 6 year old dropped this and broke it on a vinyl floor. After the fact we had to do research and this stuff is almost impossible to remove from surfaces, clothing, fabric, and even the skin if it happens to get on someone. The listing and product just says wash with soap and water, but that’s not actually going to work. You will have to use all kinds of extensive cleaning methods and even then it’s very possible that the stain will be permanent. We got fairly lucky that it didn’t get on anyone’s skin, but I think this product needs clear warnings and cleaning instructions considering it comes in an easily breakable glass bottle.

Fascinating little desk toy and a great demonstration of magnetism
I bought this mostly as a fun desk ornament, but it turned out to be much more interesting than I expected. The ferrofluid reacts dramatically when you bring the magnets close to the container, forming spikes and unusual shapes that change as you move the magnets around. It is one of those things that is difficult not to play with when it is sitting on your desk. What I particularly like is that there is some actual science behind the novelty. You can clearly see how the magnetic field affects the fluid, so it makes a great hands-on demonstration for kids who are interested in science, while still being interesting enough for adults. It is a simple way to turn something normally invisible—a magnetic field—into something you can effectively see interacting with the fluid. The 100 ml size is also good for a desk. It is large enough that the ferrofluid effects are easy to see without taking up much space. The blue frame keeps everything upright and gives you somewhere convenient to keep it displayed. There is a little technique involved. Moving the magnets slowly around the outside produces much more interesting shapes than simply sticking the magnet against the container. Once you experiment with the distance and position of the magnets, you can create some surprisingly dramatic patterns. My only caution is that I would treat this more as a science display or desk ornament than a conventional children's toy. Ferrofluid is extremely messy stuff if it ever escapes its container, so I wouldn't want the display dropped, opened or handled roughly. Overall, this is a genuinely interesting little STEM product. It is entertaining, educational, a good conversation piece and something I still find myself picking up and experimenting with. If you enjoy magnets, science gadgets or unusual desk toys, this one is a lot of fun.

You will have fun losing yourself from time to time.
✅ The provided magnets were very strong. ⚠️ Be careful where you park them! ✅ The ferrofluid physical properties and behaviour was incredibly fun. ✅ The ferrofluid was stored in a glass chamber. ✅ The green containment was actually a nice 3D printed plastic housing. It was lightweight and durable. The finish was somewhat unrefined but grippy. Nonetheless, it performed its job wonderfully and it protected the chamber. ❌ The magnet handles finish was unrefined plastic. Functional, but aesthetically less pleasing. SUMMARY: The ferrofluid desk ornament is a fun discussion and fidget piece. It is unique and should last.

Super Fun STEM Toy!
I ordered this ferrofluid display STEM desk ornament for my 5-year-old child, who had always wanted one after watching videos on YouTube. The toy itself is quite small and contains liquid with a black magnetic fluid inside. It comes with four strong magnetic sticks, so the whole family can play with it together. From my video, you can see my child and I each using a magnet to attract the ferrofluid, and it forms different moving shapes, which is very fun to watch. My child absolutely loves it, and it also works as a simple educational STEM toy to demonstrate how magnets interact with magnetic fluid. It feels like a mini version of the larger displays you might see in a science museum.
