Great product! Very sturdy and looks great!

Used this safety bar for a restroom refurbish. It was the perfect solution for the corner where the toilet sits. It was installed on a brick was so we used masonry screws instead of the stainless ones that come with the bar which worked well. It is sturdy and installed as instructed without any difficulty-a really great product!

Installed this with "Wing-Its" on a tile shower wall. The installation went smoothly. It's a bit tricky to hold and level by yourself, being that it is "L" shaped but several strips of tape held it in place so I could level and mark holes. Start to finish this took me about 3 hours to install. Most of the time was careful drilling of the tile and getting it marked and level. It would have been quicker if the builders had installed a backer 2x6 as they should have. Without it, use of a hollow wall type fastener was needed. Make sure that you note that you will need to mount the two ends, then mark the middle support and then remove the bar in order to drill/mount the middle support bracket. So, use a fastener that will allow you to remove the bolts if you are not using the supplied screws.The peened surface is very fine, almost like a sand blasted finish, and provides a great grip. You can seen the difference between the peened and smooth surface finish in the second photo. The corners and the middle mount are smooth.

Having to rework a shower stall for my elderly father and needing safety bars, this was an excellent choice, it covered two wall and gives him longer area to grab when needed. This bar was installed with moen wall void anchors, which made us a little nervous about not having it directly into a stud. It is as secure if not more secure. The finish on the bar makes him more secure in that it is textured and not a smooth finish. Would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for safety bars in a shower or tub area.

Was able to install by self without assistance. Found directions very helpful. Would have given 5 stars if there wasn't a small bur on weld of middle wall mount that I had to file smooth; otherwise fully met expectations. Wall mount on long end fastened to stud with three screws provided. For middle wall mount, could only get one screw at an angle into stud there, so used three of largest Toggler brand fasteners (ones with 1/4" screws) from Lowes, placed in an equilateral triangle fashion to secure that mount to wall board in addition to one screw into stud. Likewise used three of those Toggler fasteners for short end mount were there was no stud nearby. Have installed other Moen grab bars with those Toggler fasteners over the year and have had no issues to date, but in each case at least one end of grab bar was fastened to stud.

Purchased for my elderly parents. I am a professional contractor and I was able to install this without assistance. However, if you are not a professional I would consult one before attempting to install this on your own. The product is very nice and has a peened finish which makes gripping with wet hands a breeze. Make sure you consult ADA code for proper mounting height. They may seem low to the ground but they are like that for a reason so don't deviate and change the recommended height. Also, I would recommend using Moens mounting system. They are expensive but worth there weight in gold.

Well designed, well made. The grib is perfect. Works for people without a neee\d for assistant in the shower too. Very glad to have it installed. Thank you

This is the third one of these I have installed and therefore have a good understanding of what is required to mount correctly. This last one however presented some problems on install because the bar was not bent to 90 degrees and therefore the single end flange would not lay flat. I should have returned it for replacement but simply needed to get it done. My mistake for not measuring the angle first but the previous two had no such issues.
