Quest Bar Mint Choclate Chunk

As an addict of Quest bars (love their ability to fill me up for the kcal) the problem is often they taste the same or awful. This one actually tastes of something different, the peppermint taste is strong. Yes it is a fake taste but in a good way, kind of like the raspberry white chocolate one, and the opposite of the strawberry cheesecake one.

Having tried the 17 pack mixed Quest bars as well as the rocky road ones, for me this Quest bar is the clear winner.There isn't that chemical aftertaste you find with some of the flavours. The bar tastes like mint Aero and has mint chunky bits in it. Prior to this one, my favourite was probably the Oreo flavour or white chocolate raspberry, so I was pleasantly surprised to find an even tastier flavour than those.A definite winner if you enjoy minty chocolate flavours!

A great tasting Protein bar up there with the best Quest bar flavours, I have been using these to help lose weight and they are working great .Great tasting and even though it cost a little more that other places with Amazons prime delivery and great services makes it worth it.

Taste majority of Chocolate not so much peanut butter! But they make a great snack as they are not high in sugar!The bars however are a bit hard and definitely need some baking or microwaving first.

Although the image can lead to misunderstandings, and before buying I checked "questions and answers" and "comments from previous buyers", it is a 12 bars box. Some people complained about the bars being too hard. All I can say is it was not my case. I had tried these bars before (was given samples) so I knew what they tasted like and how soft/hard they were supposed to be. And they were exactly the same as the ones I had been given. I like them because they are not gummy, they have some texture, with green and brown chunks. You can sense the mint flavor but it's not like the mint smell throws you away. Subtle, which I prefer. After trying a few brands of chocolate protein bars, I have to say these are my favorite by far. So definitely I will buy these again when I run out of them.

There appear to be two versions of this bar - the UK-made one with 7g of carbohydrates per bar (as shown on the product photos) and the US-made one with 20g of carbohydrates per bar. I received the latter when I ordered this so it's worth watching out for this!However, both versions taste the same - as with most Quest bars, they're chewy and take some gnawing, but the mint bars are definitely softer and easier on the jaw than the stickier flavours like the peanut butter ones. They're not particularly chocolatey and the mint flavour is relatively weak but is still quite pleasant.I've switched to the Grenade Carb Killa dark chocolate and mint bars, which are easier to eat and better-tasting!

Love Quest bars for their nutritional value but also most of their flavours are very good (and those that aren't are at least tolerable).Bought this flavour for my husband (I am more of a chocolate brownie fan) and he loves it.

Out of all the quest bars i tried....this is by far the best....it has cookie biscuits with a slight mint flavour.
