Great mp3 player
For all the reviews saying you can't drop your mp3 files straight to device, it's because your not using a data cable. Use a data cable not the charging one in the box. I'm using one I bought in poundland. Really good sound files organised. The volume is perfect with a 9.99 pair of Sony earphones crisp clear sound. This is well exceeded my expectations. 5 stars all round.

Review of sound quality and operating features.
Likes: Product is well finished and packaged and has an easy to understand guide book. For the price this is an extremely capable product and is well worth the money. It has a reasonably easy to use menu system and is stable in operation. It is made of metal and has a bright easy to read screen. Dislikes: The sound quality is a little a little bit disappointing and the bass was very bloated and distorted when listening through good ear buds. By the way, throw the ones supplied with the mp3 player in the bin, they are not worth keeping. After adjustment of the equaliser settings in the custom mode I can say that the sound is now decent and I am happy with the adjustment. As regards the menu system when browsing music files. A word of caution: if you search for album names you will find the names truncated on the longer album names. This also applies when searching for artists. Most of the time not a problem as you can identify the abbreviated titles. You can overcome this by saving all your mp3 files in folders with album folders on the SD card. These can be viewed in the folders menu of the player. With the above views in mind this mp3 player is a good little unit and can be thoroughly recommended for the price. My mean reason for purchasing was that my Sansa fuze had given up the ghost and i needed a replacement, mainly for listening to podcast mp3 files. This device fits the bill perfectly, especially with the variable speed setting. It is great for speeding up or slowing down the spoken word. All in all a very good value for money palyer.

Great price, easy to upload music.
This product was purchased to use in a recent hospital stay. The product is compact, quick to charge, and easy to upload music (haven't tried other uses yet - but there are several functions which will be valuable). Sound quality and graphics are good. Easy to use - even for a technophobe like me! However - it does NOT have a touch screen facility - so please don't get frustrated if you keep pressing the desired icon on the screen - and nothing happens!!! I'm really impressed with the product - but in an ideal world - I would have liked a lanyard attachment - so it could be "hands free" - as not all clothes have pockets to carry the device around.

Does not fully work and can be frustrating
I am afraid I liked nothing about this mp3 player it would not connect to any device I could not load music directly to it and it would not connect to any computer or media device and I will be sending it back it's extremely annoying to use the writing on the screen can't be changed the so called external HD speaker is nothing more than a scratch sound overall a poor product and I regret buying it

good player, rubbish earphones
plus side - plenty storage, a good metal body and good sturdy buttons.. its not a touch screen though.. downside - only one really.. I wasn't impressed with the sound on the headphones.. it sounds dull like someone singing in a cupboard.. since tried the Skullcandy ear buds (ยฃ9.99 on Amazon) and its a huge improvement

Weighty views
I've had this for just over a month now so my views are based on a short period of use. I knew the dimensions from the original listing but the weight came as a bit or a surprise. Not a lot of plastic used in construction - its a solid little item! You can see the dimensions and appearance from the original listing. I don't use the supplied earpieces - I already have my own favorites. It does come complete with a TF card and its own charge lead which seems to use a non-standard plus for the player end. I'm not sure about the 60hr battery life claimed but I'll reserve judgement on that. It has a very 'clean' body - simple curve edges / flat top and base / plain back. On/off on the left edge and separate volume up/down on the right. Base has charge socket, cord slot and phones socket although there is a built in speaker hidden somewhere. On turning on you have the choice of using the built in memory or the TF card but you go straight to a menu including that choice plus other options such as 'Resume'. Thus you have to make a menu choice to go back to where you switched off - a minor annoyance. Now, I tend to use this mostly in bed so the bright screen features but the touch sensitive controls on the face - scrolling through menus, selecting an option, going back, etc are not illuminated so using them (in the dark) tends to be a bit hitty/missy.. So far I'm quite happy with it. Good solid feel but I'd prefer a little bit of a profile on the operating 'buttons' to make them more selectable in the dark.

AMAZING
I recommend this SO much, I got this a few months ago and it still works perfectly, the sound, the screen and the music. RECOMMENDED!! Edit: The earphone jack port has broken, so when I put my earphones in, the music still plays out so everyone hears my music and I've been unaware of it for a while now.

This is a great product especially for the price. Great music quality and features
I recently had the pleasure of acquiring an MP3 player that has completely transformed my music listening experience. As an avid music lover, I've gone through my fair share of devices, but none have impressed me as much as this remarkable MP3 player. In this review, I'll delve into its standout features, performance, and overall value to help you make an informed decision. Build Quality: Right from the moment I held this MP3 player, I could tell that it was crafted with precision and care. Its sleek, compact design is both stylish and functional. The player feels solid in hand and is made of durable materials that can withstand the test of time. I think that the most impressive thing about this is how light it is, I bought it for running and I can't even feel it while working out. Sound Quality: When it comes to sound quality, this MP3 player truly shines. Equipped with advanced audio technologies, the device has a built-in speaker that can definitely compete with a portable speaker and has support for high bitrate audio files. Storage and Battery Life:With ample storage capacity, this MP3 player has more than enough room to accommodate my vast music library. Its expandable memory option allows me to further extend the storage as per my needs but after downloading over 100 songs at a 256bitrate I didn't even reach one GB so the theoretical limit should be thousand. Moreover, the battery life is outstanding, providing me with several hours of uninterrupted playback on a single charge. I also ran my own independent test and was able to use the voice recording feature for 10 hours without even draining the battery or running out of storage which is impressive for an 600 mAh battery. Additional Features:This MP3 player offers a range of additional features that enhance its functionality and versatility. It supports multiple audio formats, including MP3, FLAC, and WAV, allowing me to enjoy my music in high fidelity. The inclusion of FM radio functionality which actually comes in clearly and worked surpassingly well I was able to get Iheartradio station and listen to it without any tearing and voice recording capabilities adds further value to the device and you could even use it as a personal recorder for notes. Furthermore, the user-friendly interface makes it easy to create playlists, shuffle tracks, and customize audio settings to suit personal preferences including changing profiles depending on genre of music. Connectivity and Compatibility: The MP3 player seamlessly integrates with various devices, making it incredibly convenient to transfer music files. Whether I'm using a Mac or a PC, the player connects effortlessly, allowing for quick and hassle-free file transfers. The compatibility extends beyond computers, as it easily pairs with my Bluetooth headphones, providing a wireless listening experience that's free from tangled cords but if earbuds are your preference they come with a free pair. Conclusion: In conclusion, this MP3 player has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Its exceptional sound quality, sturdy build, ample storage, and convenient features make it a top-notch device for any music enthusiast. It's also incredibly cheap for the amount of features it has. Whether you're a casual listener or a dedicated audiophile, this MP3 player will undoubtedly enhance your music experience. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of a reliable and feature-packed portable music player.

Highly robust unit
This unit is packed with functions, most of which I never used yet because I never needed them. I only listen to music on it, nothing more, so I can't say much about its other features. With its removable card, it's like 2 units in 1. I use the built in RAM to store "oldies" songs and the removable card to store contemporary rock. The sound quality is fine, the screen is easy to read with colorful icons, and overall, it's easy to control. As for holding a charge, it is great. I can get hours of listening to music off one single charge and therefore do not need to plug it in as often as the mp3 players I owned. This thing is one fine hefty workhorse. The only thing I don't like is the lack of ability to store albums on it as separate groups. It would be great to listen to complete albums in their song order but I can't seem to do that on it. I tried to organize songs in albums and the few that it would contain would only play their songs in alphabetical order. Something's weird here, like the unit has a mind of its own. So, I listen to tracks in random order only. It does a great job of shuffling tracks, but I question if the unit sees and finds all the songs on it. Figuring this thing out takes a bit of patience and the instructions are rather "touch and go" assuming the unit is very much self-intuitive. One final great feature is its built in speaker. If you're not picky about sound quality and would rather not wear ear buds (and many ear buds that are oddly shaped can be uncomfortable or not stay in), you may prefer hearing it aloud. That's if you don't mind the sound of a 70s transistor radio. On final note, I use a special auxiliary cord and hook the unit up to a boom box and play it aloud that way. I can hear it for hours on end on shuffle. I truly love that. It's a great unit if you don't mind what order the files are executed in.

Fun little mp3 player with many uses: music, text, photos, bluetooth, etc.
DESCRIPTION: This review is of a MP3 player. It comes with a pair of wired earphones, and a USB charging cable. It also includes a micro-SD card which is used to transfer content from a computer into it. I really enjoy this little player. Basic MP3 players are hard to come by these days, as most uses have been rolled into cell phones. The biggest learning curve is realizing it is NOT a touchscreen, and you have to use the 4-way control buttons to navigate it. โโโโโโโโ PLUS: It features: music playing, voice recorder, FM radio, picture viewer, eBook viewer, calendar, stopwatch, alarm clock. The 4-way controller and the home/menu buttons each have a bright white LED beneath them which lights to confirm you have actually pressed the button. Very nice feedback! Unlike many MP3 players, this one has a speaker in it! And the sound quality is quite good. I have not felt the need to use the earphones. Bluetooth capability allows you to send the sound to an external speaker. The FM radio works well, only requiring an initial bandscan to load local stations into memory. The earphones must be plugged in for the radio, as the earphone wire also serves as the FM antenna. The eBook function allows you to create your own documents in .TXT format and display them. โโโโโโโโ MINUS: When an icon is selected with the 4-way controller, it only enlarges very slightly to indicate so; so you have to look closely to see where you are pointing on the screen. Some .jpg images would not open and said the file format was unsupported, although some .jpg images did open OK. Not sure what's going on with that. โโโโโโโโ HOW I USED IT: I moved the microSD card to my computer and copied some mp3 music, .jpg photos, and an TXT file eBook to it. The music played fine. The eBook displayed fine, although the type is very small (see photo). I could get some, but not all .jpg images to open. Some images got a message that the file format is unsupported, but I am not sure why some .jpg work and some do not. .gif images opened fine. I liked this one I obtained under the Vine program so much, I purchased a second one as a gift for my wife. This would be an appropriate gift for a child who is not quite ready for a cell phone; as this device contains many of the applications they would use anyway; only without the phone. โโโโโโโโ MY RATING: 5 stars for a fun little device I enjoy using!

Done After 6 months
My son bought this with a gift card he got. After much research we decided on this one. He recorded a lot of his study materials and favorite songs and one day it died. It will not turn on or charge. What a waste.

It's okay, but I expected better features
I bought this item so I can listen to music via Bluetooth in my car. I don't like using my phone to listen to music due to call interruption, notifications and texts. This mp3 player is okay but I expected more. The mp3 doesn't reconnect to Bluetooth device, I have to chose the device everytime. The speaker has distortion when you put it all thebway up. Navigation thru files is slow response. The name files don't match the music files. I did not attempt to use the included headphones. I'm sure I'm missing more info about this item but drawings blank. I'm returning this item and decided to use a tablet.
