Really nice litter tray, been using for 2 years now since we first got our kittens. Easy to remove and clean the tray, looks quite nice in the house as well, the handle is nice and sturdy so you can transfer the box with litter in it. We have 2 of these for 2 cats, no issues with either thus far. Recommended it to a friend as well

Finally my posh, princess-like kitten has approved a closed litter box that is good enough for her royal bum. But I still have the door flap off. That’s the next step. Ok let’s begin with the pros: it arrived quickly. The box doesn’t look like a traditional litter box which is great in our kitchen beside the back door. It is extremely handy to have the scoop hidden on top of the litter box where the smell filter is. The bottom of the litter box slides out easily, making it very easy to clean. Cons: the litter box was cracked on the side when I opened the box. No wonder, because it was inside a normal delivery box without any wrapping or anything to soften it!! This made it look like a very cheap item at first. However I needed the litter box badly so I had no choice but to keep it. It is a lot bulkier than I thought. It is not exactly modern or comtemporary. Looks more like Mary Poppin’s luggage. It is very plasticky and cheap feeling, but does the job I guess. Price is way too expensive though for what you get. EDIT! Three months later. I love love the box. It doesn’t feel cheap at all anymore and it’s just a dream litter box as it is pretty, keeps the litter inside it, and has the hidden scoop too. Even my picky 9yo cat started using it! I could highly recommend it and I even consider buying a second one. I still haven’t put the door flap back as I have a feeling my cats wouldn’t like it.

I absolutely love this litter box! It’s the perfect size for my cat, providing enough space for her to move around comfortably. The high sides help prevent litter from scattering everywhere, which has significantly reduced the mess in my home. The design is sleek and modern, so it doesn’t look out of place in my home. My cat adjusted to it immediately, and I can tell she feels comfortable using it. I’ve had cats for quite a while and the smell they make is unbearable. I’ve tried 2 different enclosed cat litter trays and they always smell after 1 or two days. I always use catsan litter and even after they’ve just been in there it smells, whereas this new one, does not smell. Well, fast forward to this absolute beauty arriving. Within 30 seconds it was unpacked and racing to go. I boiled the kettle and used the steam to remove the sticker on the front EFFORTLESSLY The front window is tinted for her privacy. The tray inside, to get the excess litter off her paws works great! I trialed it for the first use to see how long until it smelled. Well after 3 weeks it still didn’t smell at all. I decided to empty it as we were going away on holiday and the bottom slid out with ease and allowed me to dispose of the litter and contents easily. The tray is extremely sturdy and great quality plastic. I’ve never seen a litter tray so strong and perfect for use in my life until I saw this one. I highly highly highly recommend this litter tray to anyone with cats that hates the ungodly smell of wee which burns my eyes. This cat litter tray did not emit any smells within the 3 weeks it was not cleaned. It’s pricey, but well worth the money for a guaranteed non smelling home (we live in a 1 bedroom flat and smells don’t take long to choke us out)

Worth every penny, a really good investment. Our previous cat, a stray tabby who adopted us, remained a wholly outdoor cat in these matters. So with our new cat from a rescue centre where she'd spent a year, I've had to learn about litter trays. At first she just deposited her business, always at the very edge of the tray, and left. She still uses the very edge of the tray, so when I put the litter in, I make "litter walls" up the side. I do make it all deep for her, at least 5cm. Now that she feels settled in to our home, she's a proper Bengal ie full of energy for absolutely everything, and has a fine old time throwing the litter around with delight to cover everything up. I'm amazed and impressed that despite her enthusiastic whooshing around inside, the litter never leaves this box. Thing is, when I pull out the tray, I do find myself muttering "and today on Time Team...." as I search for where the hidden treasure is amongst the high "sand dunes". But that's as it should be, cats want to and enjoy covering up their tracks. I'm really impressed with this box's ability to contain it all and allow her to express her natural bent. The interior step is useful. I also have a small Ikea coir mat just in front as well to take extra litter off her feet. I've found the whole thing very easy to clean. I would add though that: although the box comes with a useful scoop, after a while I changed to my own large closed one, like a child's big plastic scoop for the seaside, because I pick up all the litter around the business. This is actually more cost-effective in litter use because what stays in the box is truly clean and therefore smell free, so you don't have to throw it all away as frequently.

As usual this Curver Cat litter igloo turned out to be of impecable quality with the feeling of real strength and rigidity. Its a well thought out product that incorporates a removable litter tray that simply slides out like a drawer for cleaning and disposal of the grit and soil. The design gives your cat total privacy and keeps any smells enclosed within the igloo. A nicely finished high shine swing door gives excellent access to the tray. The igloo also incorporates a small grid that can be used to create a step down for smaller kittens, and this simply slots into place within the top of the litter tray. Also built into the upper outside surface is a concealed compartment which houses a poop scoop for easy storage. Overall the complete unit is a high quality excellent product offering durability and reliability plus convenience and ease. Finished in a dark brown thick plastic basket weave design, the upper curved half of the igloo can be unclipped from the floor pan to give total access for thorough cleaning and disinfecting. I would have no reservations in recommending this product to anyone. It carries the quality and reliability you expect from all Curver products, its quite simply money well spent.

This litterbox arrived in a very thin, crap box (even had a tear in it), but the quality of the litterbox looked very good so it held up well. BUT unfortunately it was not big enough for my large cat. I had ordered this one based on the good reviews and particularly one review that sealed the deal for me, stating the box was big enough for her large cat (obviously large is in the eye of the beholder:). I was a bit annoyed that they would not collect for returning, and that I had to buy tape and fix the box and schlepp it to the post office for returning which cost over £12. So I was absolutely disappointed with this suppliers packaging and there after sale service. If you have a small or medium cat however the litterbox looks well made and might work for you.
