"New and improved" formula does not work
I suffered from occasional red patches on my face since teenage years. A few years back I discovered that their cause was SLS in shampoos. I promptly switch to Jason Dandruff Relief shampoo and it worked like a dream for years. Then, last summer, the company introduced this new formula. Not only that my red patches returned by I developed an itchy scalp - which I never had before. I wrote to the company but never received a reply from them. I am still struggling to find a replacement, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Old Formula was better
I used to swear by this shampoo to stop my awfully itchy scalp. It used to drive me mad when using other shampoo and not this one.Unfortunately they changed the recipe which was new and improved, although I would beg to differ with the 'improved' statement. It has meant I have had to abandon this shampoo from new and buy any products on third party websites that are the old recipe.

Good but my God the smell
I agree with other reviewers. This is not for the faint of heart. Immediately after use, the odour of sulphur is so potent your family might struggle to believe you're not your doppelgänger out of Hell. Other than that, it works great, is free of nasties, and is reasonably concentrated so even with longer hair, you don't need to use too much of it.

Smells absolutely awful! The sulfur smell is very strong and does not go away, it also lingered on my clothes and bedding! The shampoo itself did not help my dandruff, it just made my scalp very dry and my hair feel fragile.

This works! Use a scented shampoo after if offended by the smell!
No matter how bad my psoriasis or dry scalp gets, one use of this and my scalp looks clear again. I use this with every wash as a first shampoo to give the scalp a good clean and then follow up with a coconut scented shampoo to rid my hair of the inevitable smell that goes with these products.

If you want greasy hair go for it
I love Jason conditioner (peach smell) however this shampoo smells of mouth wash and leaves my hair extra greasy, even rinsing it twice, mixing it with other shampoo, etc No matter what I do it leaves my hair as if I hadn't washed it in weeks. Horrible!

Smells awful and doesn't lather
I was really keen to try this, because I desperately wanted to find a good cruelty free dandruff shampoo.This product looks nice in the bottle, but as you might expect from the ingredients, has quite a strong sulfur smell.I thought I could get past the small as long as it worked well, but I found this really chalky, and it made my hair knotted. It didn't lather like a traditional shampoo and was hard to wash out.I've had to stop using it because it really doesn't work for me!
