These patches are a godsend! I've noticed that my cold sores heal a bit more quickly and easily when I use the patches, and now choose them over using acyclovir cream. Having the cold sore covered also gives me huge peace of mind, as the patch provides an extra layer of protection in terms of preventing the spreading of the cold sores to other parts of my lip- or passing this horrible virus on to others.I find that the patches stay put quite well, although if I'm eating a meal or drinking frequently they tend to come loose. But when I'm just eating a small snack like a biscuit or something, and just taking small sips of a drink, they stay on pretty well.On the downside they can be fiddly to apply, and I have wasted many patches over the years due to applications going wrong! And even though they're quite discreet I wouldn't say they're invisible- but then neither is a blob of cream on your lip! At the end of the day there's no perfect formula for managing and getting rid of cold sores- but this is one of the better methods in my opinion.Overall I'd recommend this product to anyone suffering from cold sores. The patches have been a game-changer for me and made outbreaks slightly shorter and more bearable. I also think they're good value for money.

I felt the familiar itchy sting of an upcoming coldsore.I put a patch on straight away, the tingling disappeared within minutes.I found them very easy to apply to my bottom lip left side and I used 3 patches over 2 days.When I removed the patch this morning it was completely gone.No blister, no scab...completely gone.So I would say don't wait til it's blistered or scabbed.Put it on the minute you feel the familiar tingleThat's what I did and it prevented the blistering and eventual scabbing.I love these patches.They work extremely well if used early..reasonable price and fast delivery.Healed in 2 days and the size was perfect.And keep them on hand at all times.Getting them on early is very important.

Amazing for cold sores. Have bought a few times now. Theyre easy to use, are a good size, and are incredibly effective at getting rid of sores. Have good adhesion, too. I highly recommend these for the price.

I had never had a cold sore before this year and went to the chemist where they gave me cream. I did a bit of searching online and found these patches so I thought I’d try them. They can be a bit fiddly to apply but once you get the hang of it they stick well. I had to fold it under my lip as the cold sore was right on the edge. It still stayed in place until I had a drink. I would recommend using a straw. I’m on my 3rd cold sore now and have found this time that you have to be very careful when removing the patch as it is so sticky that you have to pull quite hard and it was painful and made the sore bleed. They are not perfect but they do keep the sore covered and so I don’t think I would go back to the cream.

I'm not normally one for reviews unless it' very bad or borderline dangerous but had to do one for this product . I ordered these in desperation as I'd woken up with the mother of all cold sores and had one about 6 weeks earlier so was feeling very down.I managed to get a packet from the chemist as I couldn't wait , I must add I had never tried them before and would have done anything to help the pain and embarrassment of yet another 10 days hiding awayI applied on the first day and was pretty impressed with it's camouflage qualities and the patch was big enough to cover my monstrosity , so day 1 was good.The pain was reduced but I still knew I had a sore but nowhere near as painful as before .Day 2 ,another good day, my sore is barely visible under the patch and has given me the confidence to go out and look people in the eye. Unless you know it is there you wouldn't see it in normal social circumstancesDay 3. Today would be the time when a sore for me starts looking the worst. The horrid scabbing and yellow , brown and red rice crispy on the lip..but not today . It appears to not allow the scabbing to form and apart from some translucent skin it again is still barely visible under the patch and no pain eitherSo for the first part of a horrendous cold sore these patches have been a godsend . I won't know if they heal any quicker (about 10 days for me) but really confident because of no scab forming this will be at least a couple of days less than usualApplication is incredibly easy without having to touch the patch itself with fingers and I apply first thing in the morning and just before bedtime . No problem with it falling off but cream must not be applied first like anything with an adhesive backingRead the instructions first, don't be tempted to remove for a few hours as it won't work .I haven't tried applying make up over it as I don't wear much unless for special occasions but can't see why it isn't possible to cover the patch without detrimental effects . It does state on the packet that you can apply make up over the top .I love the product so much I ordered 3 packs so I always have plenty on me, keep some in my bag, car and at home as the sooner you apply the betterTime to update and it is a week ago today with no sore . These have been such a revelation and will no longer worry too much about getting another cold sore.Yes, I'd prefer not to have any but whilst I have these little things then the pain will be far less and the social stigma of others seeing such a mess on ones face has goneThere was not one scab formed, and this wasn't one of those little ones it was a monster . No patch on today and apart from a little pail pink mark barely visible without make up this is the quickest I have got over one, normally 10 days but still left with a scarIf you follow the instructions to the letter on the packet especially how to apply you won't go wrong ..so glad I found these

I think these Patches are amazing and well worth the money. They prevent soreness, itching and scabbing and certainly Heal the sore a lot quicker than cream. They can cover the unsightly sore and can also be covered with make up. The only problem I found was it left marking from the Cold sore on the Skin after Healing which again can be covered with concealer but this does eventually fade. A problem I found was that sometimes the Patch would not connect to the Skin of contact having to pick it of the strip and sometimes getting wasted also I applied the Patch on first onset but it still developed, however still very good and wouldn’t be without them now.

These are great and help to cover and heal cold sore, but give up eating and drinking for the duration. I wasted about six of these. I put each one on dry skin, then an hour later had something to eat and drink. They just lift straight off as soon as they get wet. It’s the placement on the curve of the lip that is the problem. Might not be so bad if you have a sore that is further up nearer the nose. Or wear them overnight.

After suffering for years with cold sores and messy creams, these patches are brilliant! Pricey for what they are but they do work wonders as I find it also seems to cut down the amount of time I'm suffering with the cold sore, if I can catch it with the 'tingle'. They are fairly easy to put on (just remember to make sure your skin is clean and dry when you apply, any creams, oil or water do affect how well the adhere!) and they cover well (not sure how well with big cold sores?)They do stay on mostly throughout the day, other than when I'm drinking when I find they have a tendency to come loose (unless I use a straw) not so much when I'm eating, but how often do you eat and not drink at the same time? Hence why I usually apply after food and drink to allow them to stay on longer.They stay put over night no issue and will purchase again in the future, although I do try to keep some on hand just in case! The plastic case they come in is handy and sturdy and can easily be carried round with you without damage, it's just a shame they don't do a 'refill style pack' to save on packaging wastage and cut down on some of the cost.

Good. It heals the wound in a week's time

These are the best ones i can find. Very thin and hardly noticeable. My cold sores heal faster and don’t dry out and bleed when i use these but i go through multiple of them for one outburst. I cut them in half to get two out of one but they are really hard to cut without ruining them. I then round out the edges. This helps for them to stay stuck to my lips longer, but eating, especially butter or greasy food will make them come unstuck, so be careful when your eating, or expect to have to rip it off and apply a new one. It’s worth the hassle though.I haven’t had to use these much since i changed my diet and improved my gut health, but when i do get the occasional blister, these are the only ones that look good now that the other brand i used to buy stopped selling theirs.

Love this product, sticks well, once applied properly. Could be challenging to put on. Have ordered several times, it work well shorten the healing time.
