Hi, can someone tell me why the hair is coming out, i just received it and not very happy, is this normal? This is a gift and don' know what to do now

I'm afraid I sent mine back immediately as it had shed so much and when lightly tugged (more gently than a child would), clumps came out. This is the first time this has happened to me when I've bought a soft toy and I can't assume it is normal - in fact, I assumed I'd got a faulty one, considering all the 5* reviews. Such a shame, as otherwise a lovely toy. I haven't found another wolf of a similar size.

Is the tail empty at the base for anyone else or has my ones stuffing just moved about inside?

I just checked my plushy and there is a distinct drop in the amount of filling at the base of the tail. However, this is due to two things. Firstly. the tail narrows in diameter as it joins the body so it tends to hold less filling anyway, and secondly because of the way these are made, the tail will be stuffed separately, then sewn to the main body before it is sewn into shape and stuffed. This does mean that there is a gap between the two pieces of filling unless someone takes the time to make them mix. Doing that takes a lot of time so it's very expensive. It could double the price, and the filling would still tend to separate over time.

Hey i had mine for 10 months its been a great toy, but im too scared to damage the fur if i wash it. How can you wash it?

I can't remember if I have washed it in the machine I think I did once on a very low heat but not sure . What I do usually it a light surface wash or I freeze it for a few days that kills all germs etc. My daughters doesn't get dirty as it never leaves her bed. Hope this helps.

This is too big to go into a washing machine (mine anyway) - would really only be suitable for sponge cleaning.
