Very effective for dealing with wasp nests
I prefer this powder to the liquid or foam types because it is highly effective even if you cannot access the nest itself. The real challenge is getting the powder to the nest entrance. Easy enough for a ground based nest with gravity on your side. The puff action of the container is not that reliable but you can deliver enough without too much trouble. For more difficult locations such as in a roof space I developed a simple blow pipe from aluminium tube which I load like a musket and blast into the nest entrance (usually under a roof tile) with my air compressor! The long tube keeps you out of harms way (wasps and residual powder) and allows precision delivery! 100% effective as the powder is forced into the nest. No idea if it kills ants but I would be surprised if it didn't.

Good product
This is very similar to a product called Coopex Power that is sold as an insecticide in the East. We were having an irritating ant problem in our living room and I tried using an insecticide pen. But the crevices of our patio doorway meant that the insecticide was not able to take effect there and the ants kept returning. This is a nice large bottle and the product is similar to talcum powder in consistency. It pours out through a single fine hole so you can squeeze the bottle and "spray" the powder in precise places. I did it along our patio door runners and the crevice between the carpet and the wall.Within a few minuets, you can see the bugs doing the dance of death. Sad but at least it does its job quickly. The affected ants died within a few minutes (I suspect it might have a neurotoxin as it takes effect very rapidly) and after that, no further ants tried to enter our living room.Another positive thing is that it is safe enough to be used with a baby in the house ... although I personally keep a hawk eye on my toddler and make sure she does not venture near the white stuff.Four stars because it only works in bone dry conditions. If for example it rains or if you are mopping the floor and the water gets to the powder, it becomes ineffective. Also, if it enters any waterways, it is harmful to aquatic life.I guess everything has its pros and cons. Best to use it in dry conditions and once the bugs go away, vacuum it up and dispose of it.

I won the battle :) but sadly not the war :(
Since the rare appearance of sun in the garden - 'a once lush green haven of peace and tranquility' it has been upturned into what I initially thought was a moles beach summer holiday.Surprised to find that red ants had set up battle posts in more waves than a alien invasion I ordered this super talc disguised as ant killer. After carefully 'digging over' their minor mountains and filling them with the white powder (which comes out at lighting speed) I patted them down as carefully as a ogre walking on daisies and retreated to the shower...No longer looking like I worked as a bakers apprentice, I carefully gazed over their territory to see if they were going home.Pleased to say I put the flag of success high up on the washing line 3 days later.Hurrrah! No more ants!Or so I thought :(Alas after applying patch repair to the damaged areas and carefully nursing the small grasslings to life, the ants have once again begun a retaliation.Even now I can hear their battle drums - I'd feel braver if I was going back out there with a flame thrower rather than talc. What can I say? Become a modern day warrior, throw aside your spears and take super talc with you to battle!Clearly the strategy of a superior mindset (or a lack of arsenal I'm honestly not sure which)Either way it kills ants just don't confuse it with baby powder.

Does the job
Package arrived like it had been thrown around abit, had to reshape bottle so it could stand upright! Power works but the power does not flow out easily, you have to shake it alot , tipping it up and down regularly to then be able to squeeze it out. It initially looks like the powder isn't working as the ants continue about there way, but after a while all ant activity seems to stop!

Still the best after 50 years!
Had a major ant infestation! Somehow they had got under the floorboards this beauty wiped them outTHANK YOU! great product Nippon i never use any other brandTrusted and reliable.NOTE to those who have never used it, it won't kill ants on contact as it kills over time but once they start moving away you'll see fast results and quickly dwindling numbers, just be patient with it,it's effective for 6months so for larger infestations just leave powder down until no ants can be seen then sweep or vaccum up😁.
