Winsor & Newton 1005754 Drawing Ink Bottle, 14 ml - Liquid Indian Ink

This ink is wonderful! I use it with a brush for illustrating/drawing. I have not tried using it in something like a fountain pen for calligraphy though. It does need a shake before use in order for the colour to be consistent, as it separates a little over time. I really like the way the container looks, it's very cute and stylish. I opted for a small pot to begin with, as I didn't know how much I'd use, but of course if you're going to use a lot, definitely go for a bigger container, otherwise it would get expensive quickly. Perhaps the pot could be refilled with the larger container and used as a smaller way of keeping it?

High quality black ink that can be used easily for smooth, intense lines as well as to create unique textures with stunning levels of depth. A valued part of my creative process, as I seem to use it in almost every piece, from simple drawings to more extravagant paintings. Arrived in its usual box that you'd find it in at an art store, secured safely inside an Amazon box. Came quickly and in perfect condition.

lovely colour, I wish it shimmered like the gold one though. And I am a bit put off with the big warning sign on the box and bottle saying that it causes severe eye irritation. This worries me as I still have my old bottle that I bought from WHSmiths awhile ago and the old bottle does not contain that huge warning.

The ink itself is great. Dried quickly, works well with my pens. Have used it for stick and pokes as well and I’ve never had problems. Only thing was the lid was cracked when it arrived. I’ve had to hot glue it together which was a bit of a pain.

The bottle was smaller than I expected, but it seems to go a long way. The ink is a nice consistency and it suits my style of writing and has a smooth consistent finish. I personally didn't find that the ink "dripped" too much, nor was it too thick. After reading other comments, I was worried that the ink would "dry out" too quickly, but I have not found this to be the case at all. If you have not written with a quill and drawing ink, then it does take a little getting used to the texture and nature of the ink, but I personally feel that this ink does the job and I would purchase again.

These inks have never let me down, the flow of them are always perfect and they have great pigment. they work easily with water to great an ink wash where some other inks can almost become oily through using water whereas these do not.

Not to runny and not to thick, easy to use with both brush and dip pen. You'll need to vigorously shake it up every so often but well worth it. Works as fluidly as any other ink, and looks beautiful on paper. Just like in the photos above and comes out much like whats on the lable surprisingly. Definatley using this in future work.

よく混ぜてから使わないと銀のラメのインクが上澄みだけになり、他のインクよりも扱いが難しいです。 しかし、実際に紙に載せると鮮やかな光沢を放ち、光の角度を変えると色も違って見えて、神秘的です。 あと、他のインクと混ぜて使うのは分離しそうで、私はやったことがありません。

Ich bin Hobby-Kalligrafin und liebe es, mit verschiedenen Tuschen zu experimentieren. Dieses Set ist ein Traum. Die Farben sind unglaublich intensiv und leuchtend, besonders das Smaragdgrün. Sie fließen perfekt von der Feder, ohne zu klecksen. Ich nutze sie auch verdünnt mit Wasser für leichte Aquarell-Effekte. Ein wirklich hochwertiges Set, das jeden Cent wert ist.
