I bought mine in January if 2025 so I've been using it quite a while. I get compliments everywhere I go. The color matches my natural color perfectly. This piece makes it easier to throw myself together. It cleans up nicely as well with fabric softener. Definitely going to purchase again

Hello!So I have been regularly buying the same jaw clip in 18" Pony Tail by Seika for over 1.5 years now. During this time, I have purchased four (4) of them that I kept and have worn/currently am still wearing regularly. Because of the style of this pony, and being synthetic hair, not human hair, it cannot be expected to last forever, no matter how careful you are! I will include some photos of the two (2) I am currently wearing.- The photo of the piece that is the oldest - shows you what happens as you wear them outside and go about your daily life. Pollutants from the air get into the hair just like it gets into your natural, you may get caught in a sprinkle or a shower and what are you going to do? Rip your hair piece out while you're in public so it doest get messed up? I THINK NOT! lolThe point of this review is that for an entire year and a half the company has been COMPLETELY CONSISTENT, in terms of the COLOR, TONE AND BLENDING, STYLE OF THE HAIR, and the QUALITY/CONDITION OF THE SYNTHETIC HAIR ITSELF. Normallynl, when I get my new pieces they are EXACTLY whatvI expect - I expect them to look, feel, and wear, JUST AS MY OTHERS OF THE EXACT SAME ITEM, always have! Not an UNREALISTIC EXPECTATION, right? RIGHT!the hair when I receive it, Meaning that it is very full, if you check other makers of what looks to be a similar version of this and you really dig through or go to their website you will find that the weight (weight = amount of hair in Grams - higher gram weight = thicker, fuller fair piece) is by far the best of any of the 15-20 jaw clip ponytails I have bought from Amazon and, upon receiving, mmediately returned. I would say 75% was due to the fact that what was advertised for color combos - I am always looking for the closest match for a dark, warm chocolate brown with CARAMEL COLORED highlights. NOT yellow highlights, nor bleachy blonde, nor brassy orange - CARAMEL! This being said, I have returned every other hairpieyes I have ever bought from Amazon, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THIS ONE STYLE NUMBER AND COLOR (Chocolate Brown/Caramel) due the items being a completely different color shade than was advertised and/or due to the cheap, thin texture abd volume of the synthetic hair itself.THIS SPECIFIC STYLE % COLOR COMBO FROM SEIKA HAS ALWAYS BEEN EXACTLY AS SHOWN IN THEIR ADVERTISING - BOTH IN COLOR MATCH, AS WELL AS SYNTHETIC HAIR QUALITY - SPECIFICALLY THAT THE HAIR LOOKS SO NATURALLY SHINY AND HEALTHY LOOKING, IT ALWATSHAS A SOFT WAVE TO IT AND THE COLOR COMBO OF "COCOLATE W/CARAMEL HIGHLIGHTS" HAS BEEN/WAS AN IDENTICAL MATCH FOR MY REAL HAIR COLOR & HIGHLIGHTS! Thst is until my recent order, placed on May 21st, 2024.I did not receive this survey until after I have already sent the "defective" two (2) ponies vack to Amazon, but I MOST CERTAINLY can and will articulate WHY I returned them:1. I knew something was immediately wrong when I opened the box from the manufacturer itself. Inside the pony is always folded in a third with the clip on the bottom and placed inside a net and then inside a long plastic bag. When that bag is folded it compresses for shipping but, normally, once you take the hair piece out and shake it a bit, run your fingers through it and/or even use a WIG BRUSH (not a regular hairbrush - a wig brush made for synthetic hair has sparse metal bristles designed not to tug or pull at the hair) and just let it fall.2. Upon unpackaging the first box comment the minute I took the hair piece out I saw that the color of the blonde was definitely not what I had always received. Not hugely off but enough to notice. Dad I would have worked with because nothing can be perfect in every manufacturing run.2. The quality of the hair particularly from the midshaft and especially the ends looked as though something went wrong in the manufacturing process. I noticed that the style of the hair was not its usual soft fluid consistency - It was very awkwardly kinky with hard folding "lines" that were very visible when I tried to shake the liece out a d let it settle. This was a definite problem.3 The last inch or 2 of the piece itself the hair actually looked like my hair pieces do after wearing them three or four months, probably a least one or twice a week for that duration. It looked completely frizzy, the notom layers were all uneven duevtonhow ragged and frizzed the hair itself was. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED WITH ANY OTHER ORDERS. I can also confidently tell you the hairpiece was not used or worn previously. It was definitely new. What I do suspect happened is that something went wrong in the manufacturing process and it is possible that when the hair was actually put in the bag, wherever they are physically assembled, the conditions could have been humid, Which would definitely cause condensation to build up on the inside of the plastic bag during shipping in storage and what account for the almost "burnt" looking, frizzy condition of the hair and might be the cause ofvthe issue with the overall "bad" condition of the "style" of this piece, normally.Over time and with a bit of brushing of all hairpiece - both human and synthetic hairpieces to maintain them abd keep them looking proper. Wheb the wind blows it around, while you are outside, it tangles it all up - that is life!! You DO NOT just slap a clip-on ponytail to your head when it looks like a rat's nest! Because the hair is synthetic and because you are going out and exposing it to the air with its pollutants, body & head perspiration (everyone perspires on the back of their neck/shoulder area, on a humid, hot, 90+ degree day!) AND, if you smoke, or even go near anyone who is/does, good luck & God HELP YOU, because you'll never get the smell out! Also,there is the occasional time you get caught running from the store to your car in a bit of It rain shower, Etc.PLEASE NOTE: I NEVER, EVER USE ANY KIND OF HAIRSPRAY OR HAIR PRODUCT OF ANY KIND ON THESE SYNTHETIC - HAIR PIECES! If you do, you might be happy with the results for THAT ONE TIME you wear it, but, I assure you, nothing frizzes a hair piece faster then hair product that does not need to go on synthetic hair!)So, in closing, please know I will definitely ATTEMPT TO BUY THESE HAIPIECES, MADE BY SEIKA, FROM AMAZON, AGAIN, HOWEVER, I INTEND TO WAIT ABOUT A MONTH, IN THE HOPES THAT SEIKA ACTUALLY RECEIVES THIS REVIEW, ACKNOWLEDGES RECEIPT!!i HOPE THEY INVESTIGATE THIS FEEDBACK ABD LOOK AT THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS IN THEIR FACTORIES AND THEIR PACKAGING PROCESS, PRE-SHIPMENT.THEY SHOULF AUDIY THE QUALITY OF ALL ITEMS THEY ARE CURRENTLY MSNUFACTURING/SHIPPING OUT/HAVE SHIPPED OUT - INCLUDIBG ANY JNVENTORY FOR THID ITEM NUMBER THST AMAZON ALREADY HAS IN THEIR WAREHOUSES, at tge VERY LEAST, they should look into their stock/process for these exact ones, same style number/name abd same color code, they are producing.I honestly hope that they are back to normal when I order again because they really are great quality hair pieces for a very reasonable price and so I don't mind that I have to replace them every few months, they are worth every penny!Best regards,Karyn A

This is a decent hair piece—the color is nice, and the overall quality it good for the price. It fits well. It’s soft and thick. But it arrived all tangled up and fuzzy. I wondered if it was a returned item—but I didn’t want the aggravation of returning it. I spent a couple hours smoothing it out and curling it, and now it looks nice.

The highlights in this are much more bright than I was expecting. The light color for the highlights are so. Thick and drastic honestly the only way I have to describe them is skunk stripes not the most natural highlights however that is my only hang up with this. The curls are cute the clip holds really well the length is good and is a really good product.

I've never tried anything like this before, and I didn't know what to expect. I wanted to have a nicer look for my wedding, without having to pay an arm & a leg for a hair dresser. The effect was amazing! It looked so real, my daughter-in-law thought I'd had a perm. It is very easy to attach, and holds all day. It took a little while to get used to the weight if it on my head, but nothing too bad. The color was perfect & blended right in with my natural hair. I would have liked it if it was more curly than wavy, but that's OK. It does tangle very easily; I laid on my bed while it was still on my head, and boy, did it tangle. Really added a beautiful touch to my wedding day look. I can't believe how inexpensive it is, for what you get.

I can admit I’m nothing much to look at, so there’s no way in hell I’m posting a photo but I’m here to let people know how wonderful this hair piece is. I got the blonde with lighter pieces. The back story is that I have had thick hair my whole life UNTIL I GOT SHINGLES! It attacked my scalp and has caused about half my hair to fall out. I’m still battling Shingles. There’s no telling if my hair will grow back. I’m left with large areas of baldness and open sores on the back & side of my head but just enough hair to pull back and cover the scorched area. I’m blonde and gray like the woman who has posted her photos (which is why I ordered this item). The clip attaches so perfectly to my makeshift bun and it looks natural! It stays in place without hurting and it’s really easy to attach. The amount of compliments I’ve gotten is surprising. I have to admit it does look cute even on me! As far as upkeep, I haven’t had to do anything to it but I’ve also been careful to keep it clean. I keep it clipped to a key hook so nothing is squishing it. I can’t speak about the other colors but the one I got is better than 5 stars. Love it!

I did not like the color and it does not look real. But I guess you get what you pay for. I am not going to even bother sending it back.. Maybe someone will want it from the thrift store?
